High School AU
Takemichi (P.O.V.)
"I know you're there Mikey" I called into the shadows. On my walk back home from school after studying in the library was always dark and quiet, except for one exception, Mikey running around in the bushes.
"I know you're there Mikey, I won't be angry at you so you can come out" I spoke to the shadows. After a moment of silence, the rustling of leaves could be heard. A figure emerges from the bushes. It was Mikey; He was a little shorter than me with pale skin and shoulder-length light blonde hair offset by a pair of black eyes. His shoulders were hunched and his head bent down in embarrassment as he stepped closer to me.
"I WASN'T STALKING YOU!" He says rather quickly, his face red from embarrassment (?)
"This is the third time this week, Mikey. I don't think it's a coincidence anymore" I replied. This boy, Mikey, is a classmate that I tutor sometimes. He is childish and funny, but lately, he has taken to following me around at night, which is beyond creepy.
"I'm sorryyy" He sheepily replies, but despite seeing that I am clearly uncomfortable around his presence, he slowly approaches me.
He moves an inch closer and I move an inch back. Mikey notices me moving away from him and frowns at that and pouts childishly.
"I just wanna walk you home" He requested.
"I can walk home by myself." I replied rather confidently. (I am scared of him)
"Nuh-uh you can't."
"What-"
"Pleaseeeee Takemichy" he said as he tried his best to make puppy eyes to convince me.
For a second I think he's joking but then, his face expression changes to serious. For a second, I considered bolting for home but I know for a fact that he's in our high school's soccer team so he will be able to catch me easily.
"Fine, but only once" I scoffed.
"Heh-he Thank you Takemichyyy" He said once again like a little child.
We spent the next ten minutes walking side by side while talking about each other's life. I found out that he had a big brother who was murdered when he was a child.
"I'm so sorry for your loss Mikey" I muttered.
"No it's okay! I'm sorry for making the environment so gloomy!" He cried.
"I should be the one sorry Mikey- oh wait we've reached my home" I said.
"I'll meet you tomorrow Mikey"
"Bye takemichy!" As he gave me a toothy grin and ran off into the darkness.
