Stab. Slash.

Branch kills the soldiers that come his way, all his intense training coming back to his mind. He knew that this was the war; the war that his family had always warned about. The war he had practiced and trained for. He wouldn't let his family suffer, or his citizens perish. Branch wouldn't let his kingdom die.

The enemy soldiers stream through the castle halls, turning their attention from their mission to the prince. As they come for him, he kills them, and he does this until he makes his way outside the castle. He gazed at the gruesome battlefield, which was covered in the blood of both sides of the fight. His breath hitched, and the prince sighed before he grasped his sword into his hand and ran into the field.

His knights were trained too, and they dodged the hits that come their way. Branch watches one of his knights drop off his horse straight onto an enemy soldier's head, killing him.

His turns to see a yellow blur in the crowd of grey and red. Princess viva. She doesn't hold a sword, a blade, or a weapon at all. No armor covers her body. She dodges blows with her supernatural speed, and teleports her way to each of branch's soldiers, as the powerful troll quickly uses her hands and snaps each one of their necks. Branch watched in agony as viva goes on and on, killing his soldiers just by using her magic.

The dumbstruck prince couldn't believe it, that this princess could kill his people so fast. The infuriated prince ran forward after the northern princess. I can't let her kill my soldiers like this.

Viva spins around to see branch coming after her. A smile appears on her face, and branch could even see a chuckle escape her lips before ran to him with her speed, basically teleporting in his direction. she brought her hands to his head. Branch knew, he knew that she was trying to kill him.

He spun out of her way, getting his sword behind her and bringing it to her back, but she moves out of the way and reaches for him again; Desperately trying to end the royal's life. He ducks away from her direction. One wrong move. One step. could kill him. All she had to do was grab, snap.

He avoids her grip, trying to reach his sword to viva as she moved to every side of him. He spun, just reaching to get his blade to the powerful princess. His brother, clay, saw their battle and rushed over. He had to help his brother. After stabbing one more enemy, he ran to help branch.

"Clay, no!" Branch yelled, seeing his brother travel over to their fight. But he couldn't get distracted. He felt viva grasp his hair, pulling him toward her, but he ripped himself out of her grasp and spun in her direction.

Clay reached for the northern princess, who dodged away from him. She teleported to Branch again, now slyly pulling a dagger from her pocket. If she couldn't reach his neck, she'd have to kill him some other way. "Ah!" Branch dodged as the princess stabbed the air, where he would've been.

Clay comes behind her, pulling the princess by her shoulder and reaching his sword to her. But he's too late, viva spins faster than the two brothers can see, and reaches her blade into the side of clays head. He sputters and drops to the ground, dying in the dirt.

"CLAY!" Branch cried into the air, he reached his blade out and slices viva, the blade penetrating down her arm. The princess lets out a cry and a hiss, before retreating quickly to her other soldiers.

King Peppy sits in the sky on his dragon. Branch looks up to him as he yells into the air,

"This is not a victory, this is not a warning. we will come back in three days, at the hour of 12. Prepare all you desire, but we will soon hold our beloved princess, and all you southerners by your throats!"

Viva has already teleported up to her father's side, and branch sees her glare at him as they leave. He sees her bloodied arm that he had stabbed, leaving a red stream down her arm and clothing. The two royals fly away, and their guards hastily ride away after them. Leaving the horrific sight of the battlefield behind.

Soldiers left dead. Branch's family shocked at the entrance to the castle. Their eyes on the dead brother that lay on the ground.

Branch drops his sword, and goes inside.
