As Genevieve and Isabella settle into the luxurious car, the opulent interior envelops them in comfort and extravagance. The sleek design and high-end finishes speak volumes about Genevieve's affluent lifestyle. It's a statement of her wealth and status, a symbol of her family's prominence in society.

Isabella breaks the silence, her curiosity piqued. "So, how's the company doing?" she inquires, her gaze flickering to Genevieve.

Genevieve adjusts her seat slightly, contemplating her response. "It's going okay, I guess," she replies, her tone reflecting a mix of pride and uncertainty. As the future CEO of her family's business empire, Genevieve carries the weight of expectation on her shoulders. her eyes focused on the road ahead. "We've been working on expanding our international presence, and there have been some promising developments on that front."

Isabella nods, as she listens intently. "That sounds exciting," she remarks, her gaze drifting to the bustling cityscape outside the car window. "And what about your plans for the future?"

Genevieve's expression softens, a hint of uncertainty flickering in her eyes. "Well, I'm still figuring that out," she admits, her voice tinged with a mixture of determination and apprehension. "But one thing's for sure - I want to make a positive impact, both within the company and beyond."

Isabella leans back in her seat, a furrow forming on her brow. "And what about finding a rich husband?" she asks, cutting straight to the point.

Genevieve sighs, running a hand through her hair in frustration. "I don't know what to do, Isa," she admits, her voice tinged with uncertainty. "We're kind of screwed."

Isabella offers a sympathetic smile, her mind already working on a solution. "Well, I guess we'll just have to come up with something," she says, her determination shining through.

"So, where are we meeting the girls again?"asked Genevieve

Isabella consulted her phone for the address. "We're headed to Café Rouge downtown. Cleo suggested it," she replied, tapping away at her phone.

"Café Rouge? Sounds fancy," Genevieve remarked, merging onto the highway. "I hope they have good coffee."

Isabella chuckled. "Knowing Cleo, they'll have the best coffee in town," she quipped, adjusting the air conditioning.

As they neared the café, Genevieve's phone buzzed with a message from Cleo. "Looks like they're already there," she said, glancing at the screen.

"Perfect timing," Isabella remarked, her excitement growing as they approached their destination.

Arriving at Café Rouge, Genevieve expertly maneuvered the car into a parking spot, and the two friends stepped out, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air.

Inside the café, the atmosphere was bustling with activity as patrons chatted over steaming cups of coffee and decadent pastries. Genevieve scanned the room, her eyes lighting up when she spotted their friends seated at a round table near the window.

"Hey, girls!" Genevieve called out, making her way over to the table with Isabella in tow. "Sorry we're late, traffic was insane."

"We almost finished our first round of drinks," Cleo replied with a grin, gesturing to the empty cups on the table.

Isabella raised an eyebrow at Genevieve. "Looks like you're not the only one who's caffeine-dependent," she teased, nudging her friend playfully.

Genevieve rolled her eyes, but couldn't hide her smile. "Alright, alright, I'll cut down on the caffeine," she conceded, taking a seat at the table.

Adreline turned to Genevieve, curiosity evident in her eyes. "So, how's work been?" she asked, sipping her latte.

Genevieve sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Honestly, it's been a nightmare," she admitted, frustration evident in her voice. "I've been buried in paperwork for weeks."

"Oh, that sounds rough," Maya sympathized, reaching for her coffee. "I don't envy you."

Aria nodded in agreement. "Well, hopefully, things will ease up soon," she offered, a note of optimism in her voice.

Genevieve smiled gratefully at her friends. "Thanks, guys. I could use all the positive vibes I can get," she replied, feeling a weight lift off her shoulders.

The conversation turned to Genevieve's recent visit with her family, and the girls gathered around her, eager for updates. "So, how did it go with your parents?" Aria asked, her eyes filled with curiosity as she sipped her latte.

Genevieve sighed, her expression tinged with frustration. "Honestly, it didn't go as well as I'd hoped," she admitted, stirring her latte absentmindedly. "My grandma was on my case about finding a husband again."

Kleo's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Your grandma too? I thought it was just your mom," she exclaimed, shaking her head in disbelief. "Looks like we're both in the same boat then."

Genevieve nodded grimly, a hint of resignation in her voice. "Yeah, it seems like Mrs. Sinclair is on a mission to find us rich husbands," she replied, rolling her eyes.

Adreline chimed in, her tone sympathetic. "It's so old-fashioned," she remarked, shaking her head. "They mean well, but sometimes they just don't get it."

Maya nodded in agreement, her expression thoughtful. "They just want what's best for us, even if their methods are a bit... outdated," she added, reaching for her coffee.

Aurelia chuckled, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Well, they do say 'mother knows best,' but I'm not so sure about that in this case," she teased, eliciting laughter from the group.

Isabella raised her mug in a mock toast. "To dodging the matchmaking bullet... for now," she quipped, earning a chorus of laughter from her friends.

As the conversation continued, Cleo interrupted, eager to get their drink orders. "Alright, ladies, what can I get you?" she asked, pulling out her notepad.

Isabella glanced at the menu, her stomach grumbling. "I'll take a croissant and a cappuccino, please," she said, her mouth watering at the thought of flaky pastry and creamy coffee.

Janine's eyes lit up at the mention of blueberries. "I'll have a blueberry muffin and a latte, please," she requested, her smile bright.

Genevieve leaned back in her chair, contemplating her options. "I think I'll just stick with a latte for now," she decided, her mind still reeling from the day's events.

With their orders placed, the girls settled in for a relaxing afternoon of laughter and camaraderie, grateful for the comfort of friendship amidst life's ups and downs

As they pull up to a cafe, Genevieve parks the car with practiced ease, her mind already turning to the upcoming meeting with their friends. Stepping out of the car, they make their way inside, greeted by the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the chatter of familiar voices.
