Zhan had a wonderful day. He hadn't felt so good in over a year, and he was thankful. He met up with his father's lawyer, and he was very happy about everything.

He came back around 6 in the evening, and he was so tired that he was ready to go sleep.

"Where's Cheng?" Haikuan asked, coming from the stairs.

"Oh, he went home. He said he would make it up tomorrow." Zhan spoke, finally looking around just to stop Mianmian and another woman beside her. He couldn't help groan in annoyance.

Zhan went upstairs, so done with the view he was getting in the sitting room.

Haikuan later came to get zhan for dinner because he figured he wouldn't come on his own with the extra two guests.

Everyone ate in silence, and Zhan was in a good mood, so he ate in his own world and occasionally giggled totally oblivious to the glares he was getting.

Yibo watched Zhan, all happy, and it bothered him, and he didn't know why. The more it continued, the more he lost his appetite.

"(Faked cough) Zhan, this is Mianmian's mother. They will be staying here for a while as their kitchen was burned down, so they will be living with us until renovations are done." He stood up and left.

Haikaun also left and left the three alone, zhan really was not bothered.

"So this is the famous zhan I've heard so much of?" The old lady spoke, which was only replied with silence.

"See mom, I told you he was stuck up," mianmian commented, totally losing it.

"Look, kid, I'm grateful for what you are doing for my daughter, but please don't get any ideas. Have it long and hard engraved in your head that the crown you have on your head has someone's name engraved on it." She spoke low with venom.

Zhan stopped eating at once and finally looked at the mother and daughter.

"Soo noisy," he spoke low yet loud enough for the mother and daughter to hear before he went to his room with his plate.
