- But when he was actually battling the demon, you were actually impressed with the amount of skill he had, despite his personality.

- He still had respect for you and was actually polite for the most part.

- You guys met while training.

- First time he saw you, he yelled at you and demanded you spar him, which didn't surprise you because of what you heard from Tanjiro

- You were almost a Hashira in ranking, ranking at Kinoe.

- So let's just say you won.

- And he was still prideful he would beat you some day.

- He respected your strength immensely.

- You guys met in the Butterfly Mansion.

- As the successor of one of the Hashira, you were well known around the corps.
