After the strangers took Mira on the ship, Spear swims after them and saves her, but he barely made it, and the waves pushed him back to shore where Fang and Vargin were. Spear thought there was no way he could catch up to them by swimming, but then he saw a leaf floating in the water and decided to build a raft to rescue Mira, Fang helps while Vargin watches. It took a whole day to build the raft, but it was finally done, Spear got in the water, and Vargin hoped onto it, and when Fang tried to get on the raft, she couldn't get onto it, she runs back to shore and roars at Spear.

Spear was frustrated at first, but then he remembered Mira luring Fang with giant bugs and meat, so he found some delicious giant caterpillars for Fang, and she finally gets on the raft next to Vargin and they were all ready to move out in the ocean to find their friend Mira. Fang didn't like to be tricked into something she didn't want to do, and soon, the three of them were riding the strong waves currents, and when they assumed of reaching to the boat it wasn't there and they were stranded in the middle of the ocean, Spear pushes the raft to get it moving while both Fang and Vargin took a nap together. Later, it was the afternoon, and Spear was exhausted from all that kicking. He got up the raft and took a breath, Fang took over and used her tail to move the raft while Spear and Vargin were holding on to the other side of the raft. It was already night, and they all went to sleep suddenly. A meteor shower was flying over them, and some underwear prehistoric jellyfish were swimming underneath them, too, and a big bright moon was rising towards the sky.

A strange noise woke up Fang, Spear, and Vargin, and they didn't know what it was, and they looked underwater. They saw a prehistoric whale swimming underneath them, and when it come up to the surface to blow water out from its blowhole, it made them screech, yell, and roar at it but all of a sudden it wasn't alone. It was a whole herd of whales singing, and the whales didn't look threatening at all. The three of them went back to sleep, and the next morning came, and both Fang and Vargin were hungry, Spear dives to the ocean and look for something to eat, but all he didn't see any fish for him, his son and his dinosaur friend to have breakfast. Fang was mad at Spear for not finding any food for her and Vargin and roars at the caveman, and Spear yelled at Fang that he was trying his best, Vargin covered his ears from those two arguing at each other like little children.

Later on that day, it was very hot, and they were exhausted from the heat. Both Spear and Vargin were sweating, and Fang was sticking her tongue, and suddenly they heard something in the water it was a giant sea turtle swimming around, Spear decides to dive after it so he can kill it and have it for lunch, he tries to strangling it but when the giant turtle was spinning him off and dives deeper in the ocean, Spear losses his breath and preaches up to the surface for air. When he dives back down, the turtle tries to eat him but misses, and he grabs its shell and tries to shake him off but Spear tries to strangle the turtles again but then he had an idea he makes the turtle go up to thr surface where Fang and Vargin are and the t-rex kills the turtle by biting it down on its neck they put it onto the raft and eats it, the sun was getting brighter and hotter Spear uses the shell of the turtle they ate and killed as shade from the heat and soon the days go by and Spear still misses Mira, the clouds were getting ominous and suddenly a flying fish came gliding through the water and it wasn't alone more flying fishes came preaching and gliding over Spear, Vargin and Fang. Both Spear and Vargin caught one and eats them, and Fang caught some flying fishes and eats them, too, Spear decided to catch them all and save them for whenever they got hungry later, and suddenly the waves were getting a little bigger and a group of mahi mahi's were eating the flying fish and Fang caught one mahi mahi then a group of pterasaurs were feasting on the mahi mahis, Spear was worried that they might eat his son Vargin, and he takes the hominid and hids underneath the shell so they won't try to eat them both.

Fang defends Spear and Vargin from the pterasaurs, but when they didn't know is there was a giant prehistoric shark called the meglodon was coming for Spear, Fang and Vargin, the huge wave carries the meglodon and eats the pterasaur, it also destroyed the raft that Spear and Fang made and they all went overboard the meglodon was flinging Fang around and when it was about to eat her, Spear and Vargin went after it but suddenly the meglodon eats both Spear and Vargin alive. Spear grabs a piece to his raft that was stuck in its tooth, and when it was about to eat Fang,  Spear stabs it on the tongue and roars in pain. Vargin and Spear managed to get out from the shark's mouth and meet up with Fang, but suddenly, a big wave carried them, and they were all being pushed by the currents, and meglodon is now coming for Spear and he grabs another piece of his raft and stabs it in the nose, and the fight  between the caveman and the meglodon has begun, Spear grabs the last piece of wood from the raft and was ready to strike then the shark tosses him the air and opens its jaws and tries to eat him again.

But Spear throws the piece of wood at its left eye and swims away, roaring in pain. The meglodon wacks Spear with its tail, and Spear was about to drown, Vargin screeches for his father and dives down to try to save, but he wasn't strong enough to pull him up to the surface, Fang dives down to help her friend save his father and takes them to the surface. Spear cough out some sea water and was alive, but suddenly, a storm hits them, and the waves and currents were separated Spear and Vargin from Fang and the next day, Fang wakes up to a strange island and tries to find her friends Spear and Vargin but it was no use and let's out a loud roar for losing Vargin and Spear.
