Harry's POV

My dry eyes shift from the ceiling over to the alarm clock beside my bed. I know it's late and I should get some rest, but my brain won't let me. I close my eyes and turn on my side. I try to think of something else. But what's there to think about besides her?

I can't wait to see her again. I've never felt like this before. There is something about her. Something that draws my attention and absorbs all of my interest. I've never met someone so hypnotizing.

My eyelids finally shut for what seems like five minutes until I hear the beeping of my alarm clock.

I'm a little sleepy, but my tiredness is pushed aside with the adrenaline rushing through my veins.

I need to get a head start on today, so I slide on some boxers, shorts, and an old T-shirt to have my morning jog.

"Alright," I say to myself "I just need to get this run in and then I can start getting ready."

I opened my front door and the morning light made my unadjusted eyes water. I squinted and stretched my legs on the stoop steps.

Okay.... Lets do this. I pace myself and run my usual route.

I wipe my forehead as drops of sweat poured down my face. Three miles. And under eighteen minutes. New record. Must be the excitement.

I walk up the shaded concrete steps and make my way inside. I grab a water out of the fridge and pour myself a bowl of Frosted Flakes.

The flakes crunch excessively in between my teeth. I pull out my phone from my pocket and discover I have a text message.

From: Jarrett

Hey man! Wanna hit the gym?

I hurry and text him back fingers flying.

To: Jarrett

Sure mate! Can we go around noon though?

I await his reply while putting the cereal bowl to my lips and drinking the milk.

From: Jarrett

Yea... You've got a date;)

I smiled at his humor. I love Jarrett. He's my best mate and the brother I never had. He's always been there for me. Especially when my mom died.

I ditch my sweaty clothes and take a shower.

What to wear.... What to wear.

I'm scanning my closet, but everything I own isn't good enough. I settle for a navy T-shirt and jeans with my white converse.

My hair is extra curly today. Flipping every witch way. I try to tame it but the curls over power my head. I hope she'll find it cute other than messy and uncontrollable.

It's only seven but I grab Charlie's phone and head over to the café anyway. The coffee shop is only a few blocks away, so with the beautiful weather and the good mood I'm in, I decide to take my time.

It's a beautiful day. Bright blue sky, birds chirping, people out and about laughing on their way to work. Perfect. I love the city. Its fully alive and breathes out the culture of its inhabitants. It never sleeps.

I come up to the record store and check my phone. I've got time. I walk in and see Matt behind the counter bending over sorting some records.

Matt's around my age and he's tall with short blonde hair. We've become good friends since i applied here last year.
