I smiled when looked at the flowers bloom. I knew that the first day of spring had begun in the morning, but because I was doing assignment, I hadn't seen the flowers bloom. I stepped into the park while continuing to smile, I hope that day will bring goodness.
About 10 meters before I arrived at the place where I and Finn usually study, I stopped walking. I stopped in my tracks when I saw him suddenly stand up from the park bench, smiling looking the right, then suddenly a girl came and hugged him.
I was confused about how to react, but what was clear was that my heart hurt. I wanted to leave right then, but my legs felt weak. I want to move forward, but my heart tells me not to move forward. I stood still for a moment, looked at them as they let go of their hug, then talked and laughed together. However, I had promised to come today, so I then stepped up to them.
"Hi" I greeted them.
"Hi Zea, Sorry, I didn't notice you." Finn then turned his gaze from the girl to me.
"It's fine, who are you?" I ignored him, instead I looked at the girl.
"She is luna, my girlfriend." Finn answered first, before Luna could answer my question.
"Yes, I'm luna, his girlfriend." She reached out his hand and I shook it. for real, my heart hurts so much. but I still try to show my smile.
"Nice to meet you." I said.
"Nice to meet you too." she smiled at me, looking a little embarrassed.
"Why didn't you tell me this before?" I asked in an angry tone, as if he had really made a big mistake. I didn't show my feelings of jealousy at all in my tone.
"I'm sorry, she was always busy though." he grinned apologetically.
"How long have you been dating?"
"One months." Finn replied, Luna just smiled shyly.
"that's why you often come late lately." I didn't expect the real reasons why he came late lately was because he had girlfriend. I thought it was because he had something else to do.
"Haha, yes. Sorry I didn't tell you before, I wanted to make you surprise." He said.
"You really make me surprised." I laughed, covering the pain in my heart. I didn't lie, he really made me surprised until I didn't want anything except, I wanted to go back to my dorm and crying for the whole night.
"Well, now you have met luna. I hope you guys can be friend well."
"Of course, we do. Right luna?" I tried to get luna to talk more.
"Yes, Zea! We're good friend." She smiled, looked so pretty. No wonder Finn chose her. They are couple goals.
"I have something for you guys." I opened my bag and took out 4 sandwiches from a food box. At first, I intended to eat it just with Finn, but when I found out he had a girlfriend I decided to just give it to the two of them.
"Shandwich! Zea can cook the best sandwich luna. You must try." Finn opened the food box and ate one piece of the sandwich while give the rest of food box to luna.
"Really?" asked luna, then she ate one piece of the sandwich. "This is so delicious. You're so cool. You can make sandwiches as delicious as this." Luna seemed to really enjoy the sandwich I made while Finn gave me two thumbs up.
"Well, my mom taught me. I would make more sandwiches if I knew you would come." I laughed. "Sorry guys, I remember my professor asked our group to meet him at 4 pm. I got to go." I decided to lie to them. I didn't have any appointments with the professor at that time.
I couldn't see how Finn looked at Luna with a deep gaze. I'd better to go, giving time to the two of them spending time together. I'll look for something to do after this. I will keep myself busy every 3pm on Sundays so that I have an excuse not to see Finn again.
I didn't expect that love would be this painful, I already knew it before. but I never thought it would happen to me in this way. I shouldn't feel this pain because after all I'm not his girlfriend. I'm the only one who has high expectations, hoping he has feelings for me after the times we've spent together. It's all my fault who misplaced my feelings.
