ALICE DEANE is a witch. She can talk to ghosts, one day, she may even become one. Raised on the infamous Pendle Hill and forced through a variety of harrowing trials, she finds herself in London with a desperate need for a job and a place to stay. And Lockwood and Co. are hiring. All she has to do is make sure they don't find out. Except the boy with the dark eyes and the dark history realises something is wrong, very wrong. And maybe, he finds out that a little peice of the Problem is living in his loft.
