My phone rings.

I open my eyes slowly.

A stinging pain rushes through my head, the kind of pain when you cried for hours after hours.

What time is it?

Why am I sleeping... in the bathroom?

What even happened?

I look at my hands and suddenly remember everything.

Just as I'm about to start crying, my phone rings again.

I slowly stand up and get it.

It's already bright outside and my phone tells 11:24.

Twenty-three missed calls from Mom.

Twenty-seven missed calls from Mama.

Three missed calls from Heizou and two missed calls from other band members each.

Even Uncle Zhongli called me once.

Then... twenty-eight messages in the family chat.

Seven messages from Heizou and four in the band chat.

I wipe the calls away and start to read the chats.

My Moms asked if I'm alright (I'm not), and if they can come over. I tell them that I'm okay and that they don't have to come over.

I wouldn't want them to see the bloody marks on my walls.
