"Can't believe my girl has an album coming out." Jay said as a smile adorned his face. "Can you believe it's about you?" I giggled.

"Yeah well a lot of women instantly fall in love with me." He said and I smacked his arm.
"I know you don't have a lot of girlfriends but pro tip you probably shouldn't say that infront of her." I said.

"Sorry doll, you know you're the one I want." He said and I smiled, kissing him. "I know." I whispered, a smile spreading across our faces.

"You gonna come to the launch party?" I asked knowing that Schlatt preferred a quiet night. "Course I am." He said and I smiled.

"Okay." I replied, kissing him on the cheek and turning my chair around to face my monitors.

The party was a vibrant celebration, full of energy and excitement. As guests entered the room, they were greeted by a lively mix of music, laughter, and conversation that filled the air.

The space was beautifully decorated with strings of lights, colorful balloons, and an array of flowers that added a touch of elegance to the festive atmosphere.

Tables were laden with a delicious spread of food, from savory appetizers to decadent desserts, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.

As the evening progressed, the dance floor became the center of attention, with guests moving to the beat of the DJ's carefully curated playlist.

Laughter echoed as old friends reunited, and new connections were made over shared stories and toasts.

The party was not just a gathering but a true celebration of togetherness, where people from all walks of life came together to create memories that would last long after the music stopped.

As the night wore on, the glow of happiness lingered in the air, a testament to the joy that a well-hosted party can bring to everyone involved.

"Hey doll, you alright?" Jay asked as he came up behind me,snaking his hands round my waist as he rested his head on my shoulder. "Yeah I'm good, you?" I replied enthusiastically.

"Yeah I'm good, you happy with the party?" He asked and I smiled, turning around and placing my arms on his shoulders, his hands lowering to my waist again.

"I love it!" I smiled and he quickly chuckled,a smile coming to his face, spreading contagiously. "It's good doll." He smiled and I smiled back, resting my head in his chest as I took a deep breath.

"Everything alright?" He asked and I smiled, looking back at him. "Yeah, just everything is so perfect, the night is beautiful." I mumbled as I looked around, taking in the glory of the rented rooms.

"I know doll, you made everything beautiful." He smiled and I tip-toed,kissing his cheek. "I love you." I whispered and he smiled, "Love you too." He whispered back and I smiled.

At that moment he was the only person I saw,the man I had imagined a dream life and family with. He was perfect in every sense of the word.

I took in the party, looking around at everyone as I sipped my wine. Schlatt stood, holding me close, sipping his whiskey as he too looked around.

In the middle of the bustling party, with laughter and conversation swirling around us,we stood close, eyes locked as if the world outside our gaze had disappeared.

The newly released album hummed quietly in the background, but to us,it was a distant hum, secondary to the quiet rhythm of our shared breath, holding each other as if we'd disappear at any given moment.

His hand rested gently on the small of my back, guiding me through the crowded room with love surrounding us.

The energy of the room didn't pull us in; it seemed to revolve around us, like an invisible bubble held the noise at bay, cocooning us into our own private moment.

As we moved from room to room, exchanging occasional words with those we had invited, it became clear to both of us that none of it really mattered as long as we had each other close.

The flicker of candlelight reflected in his eyes, and I couldn't help but smile at the way he leaned in to whisper something only for me ; "My beautiful girl, the music is almost as beautiful as you."

Around us, people danced, laughed, and called out to one another, but every glance, every fleeting touch between us, made it feel like no one else was there.

The party was a blur, a backdrop to our connection, and for those few hours, we felt utterly alone in the most beautiful way.

"We drunk a bit too much." I giggled as we walked up the stairs to our rooms. "Not a celebration without drinks." He chuckled and I smiled crookedly.

"The party was beautiful." He whispered as he held my waist, kissing my forehead as we stood outside my room.

"Thank you Jay." I whispered and he smiled, hugging me. "You're more than welcome baby." He smiled and I giggled, holding him tighter.

I opened my door as I pulled away, holding his hand as we stumbled into my room, lying down on the bed for a moment as Schlatt lied down beside me.

I rolled over to his chest, resting my head against him as I smiled.

"I love you."
"I love you too."
