Putting down the cardboard box outside the apartment door, Tyler had to build up the confidence to knock on the door. He had only talked to Victoria over an online roommate matching website, and was really nervous about meeting her. Not only had he never lived with someone else before, but it was someone who was almost a total stranger, and intimidatingly attractive. Being on the hunt for a new job but not having one yet also made Tyler a little worried, he was banking on the fact he will be able to find a job so he can pay rent. Victoria was nice enough to say in their brief chats that she'd be willing to float the rent until he was able to pay. Though even though he knew she's fine with him being there rent free briefly, he still felt embarrassed about having to resort to that.

*knock knock knock*

A brief shuffle was heard behind the door before the door swung open revealing the same person as he's seen in the pictures. Victoria was a tall and powerful looking woman, about 5 inches taller than Tyler's 5'7" frame, with wavy brown hair, and piercing hazel eyes. She was in her mid to late 20's where Tyler had just recently turned 21. She was dressed black jeans and a loose white tank top and was holding a glass of wine.

"Oh hey! You must be Tyler right? I'm Victoria, but you can call be Tori. Here let me help you move stuff in" She said, putting down the glass on the end table by the door and moving to help him bring stuff in. Reaching down, she seemingly picked up the cardboard box with ease, the same box that he had struggled to get out of his car and up the stairs to the apartment.

"There we go, please come on in, I'll give you the quick tour of the place" She said while turning around and heading into the apartment, Tyler eagerly following her. Walking in to the living room, the first thing he notices is that it was very well put together, tasteful lamps, a modern carpet, and a large flat screen mounted to the wall to name a few things.

"I've got all the major streaming services, so feel free to watch anything. Over there is a the kitchen, your permitted to all the food you need, as long as you clean up after." moving down the small hallway led to the two bed rooms and the bathroom.

"In here is my room, and right here is you" she said gesturing to the open door leading to an empty room with a bed. The room itself was painted a pastel pink and the bed had no covers on it.

"Sorry about the room color by the way, this is the one room I haven't gotten around to renovating in someway, I can paint it over tomorrow after I get done working if you really want."

"Oh no, you don't need to do all that for me, I can do it. And its just wall color after all, its pretty minor, so I'm not in a crazy rush to start changing up my room and doing work. All I want to do is get settled and job hunting" Tyler replied, being partially truthful. He really didn't love the color, but he couldn't really afford paint and really didn't want to be a bother on his first day.

"Well I'll leave you to get unpacked while I get dinner cooking, see ya in a few" She said walking out of the room, leaving Tyler to explore his new room and get moved in. The whole room was carpeted with a really soft and plush carpet, along with that all the furniture like the bed frame and the dresser were painted white. Tyler could only assume that the past owners of this apartment had a little girl. It didn't really bother him but it did definitely made him feel a little awkward staying in what very much looked to be a girls room. But at the end of the day, he was happy he even had a bedroom to call his own.

After a couple of minutes Tyler had finished getting all his clothes in the dresser, made his bed, and unpacked some of his little trinkets and belongings, he thought he might peak out and see what Victoria was making in the kitchen. Entering the hallway he was instantly overcome with an absolutely incredible aroma, what was she cooking? Stepping around the corner he instantly heard and saw what she was cooking, it was two sizzling steaks steaks in a skillet, basted in butter, juices and red wine.

"Oh my God that smells de-licious" He said putting extra-emphasis on the 'de'. "I had no Idea you could cook"

"Of course I can cook, Here its just about ready, take a seat and Ill get you a glass of wine." Tyler had never had wine, nor really any alcohol, but not wanting to be rude graciously accepted.

The two spent the evening Sharing a meal and trying to get to know each other and trying to get over that initial awkwardness of meeting someone new, and thanks to a small glass of wine the conversation flowed decently well. After they both finished their food, Victoria moved both of their plates to the sink before Tyler could even get the chance to help clean up.

"How about we move on over to the living room Ty, we can watch a mooovie, and why don't we finish off the rest of this bottle." She said shaking the almost empty bottle of wine, pouring the rest of it into Tyler's glass. The one glass he already drank had already loosened him up and lowered his inhibitions, but another glass couldn't hurt. Standing up he felt his legs wobble a little bit but they still held strong. Loosely walking to the couch he puts his glass on the end table and plopped down. Victoria followed him in and placed her glass on the the end table on Tyler's side of the couch before sitting down next to him.

They spent some cracking jokes at the movie and sharing some laughs as Victoria watched Tyler drink more of his wine and slowly getting more tipsy. She waited till Tyler Drank a little more before starting to mess with him. Leaning over she gazes right at Tyler who quickly locked eyes with her, she then preceded to lean in more and more until she was borderline on top of him.  Tyler's cheeks went red as he froze.

"h-hi" He managed to stammer out.

"Heyy" She said staring him down intently. She then grabbed the glass of wine she left on the end table and leaned back to where she was sitting as if it was nothing in attempt to leave Tyler flummoxed, and it worked.

"Tyler go get me a glass of water, will you" She said giving him a gentle but coercive side eye while he was still a little stunned. He meekly but quickly nodded, stood up, and made his way to the kitchen. It took a little bit of time for him to make it back since he had no idea were the glasses were, but he felt a little nervous asking, so he just silently searched. It was maybe 4 minutes before Tyler came back into the living room seeing Victoria shutting off the tv and shutting down the living room.

"W-wait is the movie over?"

"Afraid so Ty, but thank you for the water, I'm very proud of you for finding everything with out any help" she said grabbing the glass out of his hand and walking past him into the hallway. He knew that getting water wasn't very big of a task, but hearing her praise made him feel a little warm and happy inside.

"Oh Tyler I have something for you" Victoria called out from her bedroom. Caught up in the moment Tyler quickly shuffles over to greet her at the bedroom door.

"Its a white noise machine, the city sounds can be a little much to try to sleep in, so I thought this might help you fall asleep. Here let me plug it in for you" she said, moving her way into Tyler's room without waiting for his response. With speed she had it plugged in and making its whooshing noises.

"Oh.. ahh thanks, thank you." Correcting his tone slightly in his second thank you to seem more genuine, he didn't want to seem like he didn't like the gesture. He appreciated all she'd done, and he's really enjoyed the night they had together.

"Okay, I'm going bed Ty, Ill see you tomorrow" Smiling as she walked by him. "Goodnight" she said shutting her bedroom door in her wake.

"g-goodnight, yeah see you tomorrow" he said talking to the air at the point. Standing in the entrance of his room, the whooshing of the machine quickly lulled his brain into a sleepier state by the minute. Sloppily he stripped down and slid on some PJ's, partially cause of his exhaustion from the machine, and part from the wine. He lay back in bed and quickly was pulled into sleep.
