It had been three days. Three, excruciatingly long days of being stranded on an island with Shikanoin Heizou. Aether had begged Paimon to fly to Narukami Island to get a boat, only for him to fish her up again after she nearly drowned. He glanced over at the spot where she was curled up in a deep sleep, recovering from the traumatic event. It was upsetting for him to be the cause, but it was more upsetting for how Heizou had been acting since she got back.

The detective seemed annoyed that she was back so soon. Though it wasn't for the right reasons. The entire time they've been stuck on the island, Heizou spent his time flirting with Aether more than trying to find a way off; in fact, it seemed as if he was deliberately sabotaging their escape at every turn. As soon as Paimon had left, Heizou had pounced on him, like a dog whose master had just come home. Given how he'd been flirting with him since he met him, even more so in the past few days, it didn't surprise him that Heizou was obsessed with him. He was just surprised that Heizou would litter his neck with kisses as soon as he tackled him. Aether froze momentarily before processing what was going on. His face turned beet red as he struggled to pull Heizou off of him. "What are you doing?" He hissed, not missing the way the detective licked his lips as he reluctantly pulled away.

"Just having a taste." Heizou smiled sweetly, his green eyes looking at him intently. Aether pulled himself off the ground, brushing the sand off his pants.

"A taste." he mocked, turning his back on him and leaving for the campfire. He felt Heizou's eyes sear into his back. "Oh come on," Heizou followed after him and wrapped his arms around Aether’s waist. He could feel his heart pound as Heizou pressed his lips to his ear. "We're alone on a desolate island. Isn't it a perfect excuse to have some fun? Come on, Traveler~ Have fun with me~"

Aether rolled his eyes as he unwrapped his arms from him. "We need to spend this time looking for a way off this island."

Aether patted Paimon's head as she slept, curled up in Aether's lap like a cat as he watched their fish and lavender melons roast on the fire. Heizou sat across from them looking like a kicked puppy with a scowl on his face. The redhead kept giving Paimon jealous glares through the fire as she slept. He could've sworn he heard him mumble under his breath about how he should be laying in Aether's lap instead, but he brushed it off as nothing.

"Your cooking rivals the gods; would you care to feed it to me?" Heizou popped out from behind and touched Aether’s shoulders discreetly. His hair hung off his face, dangerously close to Aether's. "How have you gone this long not knowing how to feed yourself?" Aether shot back, a smug smile forming on his face.

Heizou pouted and hung himself around Aether's form, causing the Traveler to stiffen. "You tease me so much, can't I have a treat? I've been so good…" Heizou licked Aether's neck and began to nibble on it. Aether’s face flushed as the action sent warmth to his groin. His mind went blank at Heizou's touch, not even realizing he let out a quiet moan.

"You're even talented at singing~" Heizou purred and undid the hair tie holding Aether’s braid together.

Aether pulled away, carefully setting down Paimon under a blanket. "You know, when everyone compared you to a puppy, I thought they were exaggerating." Aether stood up and held his hands on his hips. Heizou smiled and drew closer. "You're a Detective of the Tenryou Commission, not a dog."

Heizou gave him a surprised look. "A dog? Where did this idea come from? There's nothing dog-like about me!"

Aether fumed, cornering him across the island. "You've been practically humping my leg since we've gotten here! And what is it that you're wearing? That rope looks awfully a lot like a leash!"
