~Jennah~

A few days have passed since the recording of the video. The anticipation of its release this week is making me feel quite jittery. Each passing day only deepens my longing for Charlie's affection. It all feels like a surreal fantasy, and I can't help but wonder if I am allowing my emotions to run wild. Without Charlie, love seems like an incomplete puzzle. As I descended the stairs, the aroma of the breakfast she was preparing filled the air, just like always - a comforting familiarity. I caught a glimpse of her in the kitchen, clad in a robe that slipped off her shoulder slightly, revealing her radiant skin. Her choice of attire, a crop top tank, accentuated her navel ring, making it hard for me to look away from her flawless beauty.

"Hey, Jennah! How did you sleep?" Charlie asked.

I nervously chuckled and walked further in the kitchen. "I slept great, but I had a crazy dream,"

"Oh really? What about?"

"Oh my gosh! Is that bacon? Smells so good!"

"Yes, with cheese grits sausage, and waffles; your favorite!"

"Thank you so much for cooking!"

"No problem," she giggles.

~Charlie's Viewpoint~

I sigh at the fact that things are just so awkward between us at times. But I don't know how our relationship would be like. She is certainly beautiful and gorgeous of course, but how are things going to be? I don't know! I keep thinking of the kiss and shit, and I look at us a different way. Would I mind doing it again? No. But, what will our future look like?

"Hey, girl. You okay? You disappeared on me for a second," She said.

"Yeah, I'm good. I was in deep though...sorry,"

"About what?"

"The video..."

"It drops tomorrow..."

"Yeah,"

"I'm excited for the announcement coming today though. I wonder what the cover will be,"

"All we can do is wonder,"

The sunlight filtered softly through the sheer curtains, casting a warm glow across the room where Jennah and Charlie lay entwined in each other's arms. Outside, the world was buzzing—an ordinary Friday afternoon filled with the chatter of passersby and the chirping of birds—but inside, it felt timeless. They'd both been exhausted from the whirlwind of the past few weeks, and today was a crucial day, the day a highly anticipated YouTube video featuring Charlie and Jennah, along with Bryan and Taylor, would drop.

The video was set to chemistry with Jennah as they played a couple, a role they had embraced wholeheartedly. But now, as she lay asleep, dreaming in the arms of the girl who had always believed in her, those nerves seemed to dissolve into the gentle rhythm of her heartbeat.

But suddenly, Jennah's phone buzzed insistently on the bedside table, shaking her from her slumber. Slowly, she blinked her eyes open to the overwhelming warmth of Charlie's presence beside her. She could hear their friends' voices chiming in through the group chat, and the excitement was palpable even in her sleepy state.

Kiya: YALL DID YOU SEE THE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM BRYAN AND TAYLOR?
Nia: THE THUMBNAIL IS HOT 🥵!
Stevie: I'm so excited they said it will be available at 4 pm!
Niecy: I know this is going to drive Charlie's fan base crazyyyyyy!
Kiya: WHERE ARE THEY !!!!
Stevie: Knowing them, probably overslept again lol

A giggle escaped Jennah's lips, and she felt a rush of warmth when she saw the messages. She typed back quickly, Jennah: I definitely overslept but I can't believe it drops today!!!!
