Mark and I argue a lot. I'm pretty sure you know that already. It's hard to think that we'd ever get along. But the next day, everything changed.
It was the day after our argument. I was in my room reading a book.
" 'And Lilly the Penguin really wanted to swim with her best friends Martha and-' "
"Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Spongebob Squarepants!" Mark marched in out of nowhere and started singing really loudly. I groaned.
"Mark, get out!" I yelled.
"This is my room," he said. "So, no." After all, this was his room, also. But, I don't really care. So, he started singing again when I tried to read again.
"Mark, shut up and get out!"
"Ok, fine!" he shot back. "Imma go get on Daddy's computer!"
"Fine!"
"FINE!"
"JUST GET OUT!"
Mark stomped out of the room. Thank God. I went up to the door and locked it. Ha. He couldn't bother me anymore. I decided I'd take a nap after finishing my book. That's exactly what I did.
It was about maybe 6 o'clock when I woke up, 'cause I went to sleep around 4:30. Hmm. Little longer than a nap, but oh well. I was about to go draw a picture at the little round table in our room, when suddenly-
"Kylie, open the door!" I looked up. The door knob twisted and turned violently. Of course, it was none other than Mark.
"Mark, go away!" I yelled back. I did not feel like being bothered with him.
Bang bang bang! Mark knocked on the door extra hard. "Open up, Kylie!"
"Go away!!" Does he ever listen?
Bang bang bang!!! He knocked even harder. "Kylie, please! Open the door!" Was he actually pleading me to open the door?
"Why?! Didn't you hear me say no?!" I yelled.
He twisted the knob harder. "Please Kylie!" he yelled back. "He's chasing me!" Somebody's chasing him? Ah, probably just one of his stupid imaginary friends.
"GO AWAY!" I was tired of this.
"Kylie please!! He's gonna hurt me! I'm serious! Please open the door! Please!!" He knocked as hard as he could. What was really going on?
