she stared at the flight confirmation from the airline she had booked. she hadn't done anything for the last few days because she just wanted to get away from all her post work stress. now her anticipation grew even more. above all she would see lily and alex again.
and with that, the next two weeks flew by.
she ended up in miami with livia. a hotel and everything was already taken care of. they stayed in the same one as lily and alex. she had to get used to being around a lot of people again. sometimes she forgot that she was also known. that she was seen in magazines and ads.
"delia!!" a recognizable voice made itself known in her ears. she turned around to see lily running towards them both. apparently she was coming to pick them up. delia had a huge smile on her lips and she held out her arms. then lily's arms wrapped around her. such a warm hug. she had missed that. but they separated and she greeted livia with the same enthusiasm.
"how was your flight?" she asked, walking us out of the airport to the car. a few cameras were in sight, but it still seemed not too crowded. "i had a good nap" liv stated super proud of herself. she definitely had a sleeping problem. all three of them continued their talk in the car as they drove to the hotel. there were definitely more cameras and fans.
"did i mention that all the other f1 drivers are also staying here?" no you didn't mention that, lily. delia thought, but actually she didn't really care. she would meet someone sooner or later anyway. after all, she watches the whole weekend: the free practices, the qualification and finally the race.
