Amira heard the shouts of the soldiers behind her as they charged forward. She knew most of them wouldn't come out of this alive, but she knew they would still fight alongside her regardless. She ran ahead of the soldiers, sword raised as she barreled towards the Dark Army.
The air cracked, and a massive shadow flew past her, heading straight for the Dark Army and Dalton. She looked to see Kengi's eyes glowing as he urged his horse beside hers. She looked forward, seeing the shadow tear through the army, knocking many of the soldiers off their horses as their horses ran off.
Her eyes narrowed as she urged her horse faster, running through and over the fallen soldiers. She swung her sword in wide arcs, soldiers falling all around her. She thought her stomach would churn at the idea of so many people being killed by her, but she didn't care. She was fighting through the entirety of the Dark Army, heading straight for Dalton.
She could see her soldiers around her, seeing some of them falling, heart pounding painfully. She hoped they wouldn't lose as many soldiers as they probably would, but she never knew at the start of the battle. For every one of her soldiers down, they took down four of the Dark Army's.
She had killed over fifty before she finally got to Dalton. She jumped from her horse, knocking him to the ground from behind. She didn't give him a chance to react, beginning to move her sword for the kill. But, he jolted, knocking her off of him. They both stood, rushing at each other. Sounds of metal clashing echoed around them, but they only focused on each other.
Dalton smirked,"My little pet has gotten feisty. Is it because you stole our powers?"
Amira quickly brought up her sword, blocking one of his hits,"Not quite. You attacked us first."
Dalton's eyes flashed behind her. Before she could react, she was knocked to the ground, barely dodging two swords coming at her from behind. She dropped her sword as she fell. She tried to get back on her feet, Dalton moving to kick her sword from her. He kicked her stomach, making her roll across the ground as she grunted in pain.
Amira hit someone's dead body, trying to get feeling back in her body. She opened her eyes, tasting blood in her mouth and seeing three swords pointed at her, three men in front of her. She glared up at Dalton, eyes furious.
Dalton smirked,"Give up, General. The game is over. We've won the fight."
She tried to stand, getting on her knees before Dalton's knee came up, making her see stars as he hit her chin, knocking her back down. Her vision was blurry, her hearing not working properly. She didn't notice her soldiers stopping and freezing, being taken over and swarmed by the Dark Army.
Dalton smirked, watching as his men forced Amira's army on their knees,"Watch what happens to a woman when she tries to escape my chambers. He flicked his hands at the two men beside him,"Pin her down."
They moved quickly, their hands holding her wrists above her head, smirking. The Diamond Army protested, urging her to get up, but she could barely hear them, head spinning.
She barely registered her armor being ripped off, her pants and underwear being ripped off. Her eyes flew open as a hand went around her neck, Dalton entering her in one swift thrust. She cried out in pain, Dalton's hand choking her.
Dalton turned to the Diamond Army,"Look at what your fearless General has been reduced to! She's mine!" He turned his attention back to her, pounding into her, making her whimper,"Mine. Mine. MINE!"
She felt different pairs of hands go under her shirt and bra, squeezing her nipples. She groaned, fighting against the men that held her. Her resolve to get away from Dalton was fading, but she had to get him out of her before he came in her.
She heard a roar as a shockwave burst around them. It passed through her, but it completely knocked the men off of her. Dalton was ripped out of her, being flung back. The roar of her soldiers surrounded her as they fought the Dark Army, but she didn't move.
Amira had blood dripping from her nose and her mouth, panting slightly as she laid on the ground half naked. Her hearing drifted in and out, body thrumming with pain. A voice near her snapped her into reality, her eyes opening and clearing enough to see Kengi above her.
Kengi wrapped his arms around her, hands shaking as he tried to cover her as much as possible, voice shaking,"Amira! You need help. I'm so sorry. I've got you now." He brushed a strand of hair away from her face,"I've got you."
Amira didn't realize she was crying until he wiped away the tears from her cheeks, staring up at him with an almost broken expression.
He whispered,"You and I will go somewhere far from here when we get back to the palace. I'll let you choose where we live. We can be together as long as we live. We don't even have to marry if you don't want to. Just, please, don't cry, love."
She managed to whisper,"I want... to live... in the woods... with you... away from here..."
He smiled softly,"Anything you wish, Amira. I would do anything for you." He stood, cradling her carefully against his chest, afraid of hurting her or scaring her.
The squadron leaders crowded around him, all trying to see if Amira was ok. The remaining members of the Diamond Army around them, making it impossible for Kengi to move with Amira.
One of the squadron leaders offered his cape to her, draping it over her,"I'm so sorry, General Amira. We didn't know what was happening." They all nodded their heads in agreement, eyes somber.
Amira managed a small nod,"Thank you... We won... the war..." She turned her head into Kengi's chest, breathing in his scent, going quiet.
The army parted to let Kengi pass, eyes following them. The squadron leaders shouted orders to get the fallen and wounded from both sides to the palace.
Kengi held Amira close, glad that they had survived the war. He entered the palace, heading to her room as the other soldiers headed to the infirmary and the squadron leaders to the throne room.
He laid her gently on her bed, moving to her closet to find her something to put on. His eyes stopped on a long, blue robe, grabbing it and moving back into her main room. He saw her sitting up, eyes staring at her hands.
Kengi sat on the bed beside her,"Love, I found you something to put on." He offered her the robe, her blank eyes moving over it.
She eventually took a deep breath, taking the robe and speaking softly,"Thank you." She watched with slight amusement as he turned his head as she began to remove her shirt, murmuring,"I'm surprised you don't want to see." She quickly put the robe on, silently grateful he had given her privacy.
When she had finished getting ready, she moved behind him, arms on his shoulders as she kissed his neck, nipping it slightly. She smirked when he groaned, leaning back into her, nipping his neck slightly harsher.
Kengi's voice was rough and ragged,"Love, unless you want me to take you here, you should stop."
Amira laughed softly into his neck, pulling back,"Good luck hiding that." She kissed the mark she had left on his neck, standing,"Now, let's go see the King so you and I can leave."
Kengi's hand flew to the hickey on his neck, eyes lighting with a challenge,"I'll get you back, Amira. Just wait." He stood, taking her hand in his, eyes softening,"Let's go, love."
