Dave's new friend! ♡ // Dave x Bambi //

Chapter 1

Dave has a routine and never changes. Every day he wakes up and goes to school, works till 7 pm, goes home to finish more work, eats dinner, and sleeps. Pretty boring ass life if I say so myself. This day was no other, he went to the school and worked till 7 pm but Dave had a teacher conference that day and had to stay till 7:30 pm. His son Tristan was waiting for him outside the school, they usually walked home together he only had to wait for 30 minutes that's not hard, right? But his dumbass just started to wander off and found a corn farm. He goes in it not thinking much of it but the further he walks the more he's getting lost. He's now officially lost in a big-ass corn farm for what seems more like a maze than a farm. He panics and tries to find an exit to this stupid farm but he's making himself more lost. Whatever could he do! 

Tristan's Pov:

AH FUCK! DADS GONNA BEAT MY ASS. 

I tried to calm myself down a bit and it semi-worked. I walk around for some more tracing my steps but goddammit, who knew all corn could look the same? I heard rustling nearby now I started panicking and started running but the thing was faster than me and pinned me down, he tied me up and as I looked, I saw an old fart mad.

"UNTIE ME YOU FUCKING HAG" I shouted at him

"SHUT UP YA CORN THIEF " He yelled back

Corn thief?? Brother who would steal corn???

"Corn thief- what dude?! I hate corn!" 

"yeah! yeah! save it!" 

Dave's Pov:

Dave just finished his conference and was beyond tired and just wanted to go home. As he exited the school, he looked around for Tristan near the entrance but Tristan wasn't there. Dave got a little worried and decided to call Tristan. The phone rang a bit suddenly he heard Tristan's ringtone nearby he looked to his right and could hear it from the Corn Farm. He never liked the Corn Farm next to the school, children could get easily lost in there, and seems like a child is lost in there and that child is his stupid son Tristan. He sighs and goes into the Corn Farm, he can hear the ringtone getting louder, and then when it stops he looks at the ground and sees Tristan's phone there. He panics a bit trying to find him and then suddenly he hears yelling nearby so he follows the yelling and sees some random dude restraining his son with a rope.

"HEY! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO MY SON!" Dave yells 

Both the dude and Tristan looked shocked at the sudden yell and Tristan immediately yelled back 

"DAD! HELP ME! THIS RANDOM LUNATIC JUST RESTRAINED ME FOR NO REASON!"

"HE TRIED TO STEAL MY CORN!" The guy yelled back

"NO! I WASN'T! DAD PLEASE CAN YOU TELL THIS HAG TO UNTIE ME!" 

"Ok! Ok! Can you please untie my son? he didn't do anything wrong." Dave said, the guy looked between Dave and Tristan and sighed. He untied Tristan and as soon as he was free he ran up to Dave and went behind him.

"Thank you! But why did you just tie him up as soon as you heard he was in here?"

"I always assume someone is stealing my corn, lately a lot of kids from that school like to steal my corn I presumed he was also here to steal" The guy answered and crossed his arms. Dave sighed and planned to announce tomorrow that kids shouldn't even be allowed near the Corn Farm. 

"Urgh! I really should tell these kids not to come near here" Dave mentioned

"Yeah that'd be real nice, thank you oh, and by the way the name's Bambi!" Bambi forwarded his hand to shake Dave's, Dave hesitated but accepted.

"And uhh sorry bout tyin' ya kid, kids can be real annoying" 

"Yeah you got that right, they're such handfuls" Dave replied laughing. He looked at Tristan frowning and then at Bambi chuckling.

"I hate that the Corn Farm is near the school" Bambi added  suddenly angrily and crossed his arms again and Dave nodded 

"Yeah??? I don't know why they built the school here but what can we do?"

"Yeah..." Bambi replied 

"Well, I can bring ya guys back to the entrance!" Bambi brought them to the entrance and before Dave and Tristan left, Dave stopped to say goodbye.

"Well, nice meeting you Bambi!" Dave spoke and waved "Nice meetin' ya too!" Bambi replied waving back. Bambi went back to his Corn Farm smiling but then quickly stopped as he realized what he was doing. He sighs and lays down on a haybale in the middle of the Corn Farm that is mostly empty he didn't even realize he was smiling. He hates having emotions. they make him look, sound and feel vulnerable and he fucking hates that. He hates how Dave made him feel. After much angry thinking and a hard hit on the haybale, Bambi drifted off to sleep.

"That was a really weird guy," said Tristan with a face of annoyance after a while of being silent.

"Yeah? I thought he was real nice, he just misunderstood you" Dave added back smiling.

As Dave Tristan walked home, Dave couldn't help to wonder why he was so casual with Bambi as if Bambi hadn't tied up his son. They talked like they were buddies. He sighed and just decided not to think much of it. He was too tired anyway and just wanted to hit the hay for today.
