(2 Weeks and 14 girls later)
"It's not my fault she wasn't even interested". Cole tried to explain to me.
"Dude I've tried they're no more girls so just wait for the universe to bring her to you". I said before I walked out. I have English this morning by the way.
"Miss Juliana and Mr. West my office now". Mr. Haven said announced through the speakers. I just stopped ,turned around then dragged my feet to the principal's office.
"Okay you two the state's science quiz is next week Saturday and our school must get the prize. Now you both are the best in the school all my hope is in you". Mr. Haven said just like that.
"Meet at my place". I said looking at him.
"Let's meet at my place". He smiled
This particular smile made my heart skip a beat.
"Okay". I said then I finally left for English class which is ending in five minutes.
(Ring ring ring)
"Ah shit I have physics now ". I cursed then went for the dang class.
"Bring out a piece of paper for your surprise quiz". O my gosh I hate this woman with my life what exactly is her problem.
"Answer the entire exercise in your textbook about light waves". Seriously lady how am I going to do this.
"Anything wrong Juli?". Cole asked
"Yes I don't know anything about light waves,how am I going to pass the exam?". I asked frantically
"Just copy from mine". He said pushing his slip for me to see.
"Okay". I said confused but still copied from his anyways.
"Five minutes to submit". The teacher said .I finished before time and we both submitted. He just smiled the entire time.
"Cole thanks for the help but I must ask what kind of superhero are you?". I asked because he's done a lot of bad guy kind of things.
"The good type and if you think about it I was saving you from an F9".
"Wrong is wrong I appreciate the help but you should stick to golden boy from now on. Villains are villains heroes are heroes they can't be each other unless you're a paranormal, promise me you'd be you"
"What if I want to be a villain?". He shouted aggressively
"Why would you want to be a villain? You can't even look like one". I replied with equal aggression.
"Meaning what?". He shouted again
"I'm sorry". He whispered.
"I don't know why you would want to be a villain but I don't care. See you at your place". I emphasized on the your. A very hectic day at school never thought I'd see the end but I did.
"Juli common let's go". Cole said
"I'm going with April". I hissed then left ,I have never seen his house in broad daylight. It's huge and actually beautiful. When we got inside his parents were in their living room.
"Hey mum and dad". April greeted and I greeted right after.
"This is Juliana my best friend and Cole's science partner". April introduced me they seemed uneasy about my presence.
"Who are your parents?". Mr. West asked
"Allen and Emily". I lied I know their suspicions.
"Where do they work?". Mrs. West asked
"At a company in New Orleans". I lied with no hesitation
"O really in that case welcome you know we always need to know our kids friends". Mrs West smiled hugging me.
"Okay guys common Lian, Cole's upstairs". April dragged me.
"Next time try to warn me before I get bombarded with questions". I glared at her and she gave a cheeky smile.
*Knock**knock*
"Come in". Cole replied
"Alright I'll leave you two to it bye". April smiled.
"Where are you of to?". I asked
"Hanging out with Zed at the ice cream stand". She smiled then left.
"The science quiz comprises of Biology, Chemistry and Physics". He explained.
"Let's start with chemistry". I said sitting next to him on a chair.
"Open your quiz app ". He said
"Let's do a competition, whoever gets the highest score does whatever they want". I proposed the idea to him.
"You're on". He grinned widely
"No use of textbooks or google no cheating of any sort". I stated the rules.
"100 questions, 10 minutes".I said
" 3,2,1 start". We started as quick as we can. I was about done just four more remaining.
"3,2,1 stop". He counted.
"Now submit". We both hit the submit button.
"What did you get?". I asked covering my score.
"93\100". He replied smirking.
"92\100". I said
"Whatever I want, you know what let's do it for all the subjects". Cole said even more competitive.
"Fine".I agreed
"3,2,1 start". I swiftly graced through biology but physics was a completely different story. He's obviously better at it than me.
"Get ready to stop". He smirked widely
"Stop!". He yelled
"Score: biology 92/100 physics 96/100 chemistry 93/ 100 you?". He said
"Biology 98/100 physics 90/100 chemistry 92/100". I replied
" Total:281". He said
"Total: 280". I said
"Yesssss!!!!". He screamed in joy.
"Just one point". I said
"You won't say that in the quiz would you".
"I hate you".I said before I stood up to stretch.
"Hey tomorrow I could teach you physics then we could do this again and see how far you've gotten". He offered
"Alright, what do you want anyways?". I asked
"If I say it would you do it?". He asked
"I don't have a choice". I replied coldly
"Kiss me". He just said that and stood there staring at me.
"Fine just need you to know that I don't mean it at all". I said clearly before I gave him a swift kiss.
"See you tomorrow". I said but he still stood there staring at me. I just left to my house, too tired to find out. Sat on my couch with my macaroni and cheese in hand watching umbrella academy. Suddenly my phone started ringing when I checked it was Cole.
"Yes I'm in the middle of a movie". I said as I picked the call.
"I can call you later"
"No speak I'm listening".
"I've finally figured out my emotions and I know who I love"
"O yay who is she? Is it one of the girls on my list". I asked cheerfully.
"You know what forget about it I'm not so sure about her". He said killing my spirit.
"Okay if you say so". I said before hanging the call.
