Mia blinked, her eyes adjusting to the dim light filtering through the heavy leaves above. The air was humid with moisture, and she could taste the earthiness of the forest on her tongue. She tried to recall how she got here, but her mind was a blank canvas, devoid of memories beyond the last fleeting moments before waking up in this strange place.
A rustling nearby caught her attention, and she turned to see London, her face drawn with worry, scanning their surroundings. As their gazes met, a silent understanding passed between them. Neither of them knew what was going on, they both knew that.
Reid stepped forward, his eyes scanning the clearing with a mix of curiosity and caution. "Anyone have any idea where we are?"
Micah, his brow furrowed in concentration, shook his head. "Not a clue. But I think we should start by figuring out how we got here in the first place. Anyone remember anything?"
Everyone stared point blank. Vague memories but nothing big to recall. Only snippets of there past.
Joon, his voice barely above a whisper, spoke up for the first time. "Do you think... do you think this is some sort of dream?"
Yohan scoffed, his skepticism evident in the arch of his brow. "A dream? You sound so cliche. Besides, This feels too real to be a dream."
Lou, of course, chimed in with a nervous laugh. "Well, whatever it is, we'll figure it out together, right?"
Yohan gave him an amused look. "Great, another cliche remark. None the less you are correct. We are in this together. We always have and always will be in this together, forever and always""
Mia nodded, a sense of determination settling in her chest. "Right. Let's start by exploring our surroundings. Maybe we'll find some answers."
With that, they set off into the unknown, their footsteps echoing through the silent forest as they searched for clues to unravel the mystery of their existence in this strange and unfamiliar world.
{Idk how to add authors notes so this is it for now. Most chapters will be like this. A page. Short and sweet. I have plans for this, but yeah. We will see how this goes. Let me know if you like!}
