Chapter 2: locked up in sadness

My step mom and sisters."well,well someone has been somewhere haven't they?" then i knew that my step mom was on to me but the thing is how did she know?" I was nowhere" i said trying to defend myself. and looking at her like she was about to show proof. "oh really? then how do yo explain this?!?!" she said as she showed me a tape on her phone of me leaving the house and me in town being stumbled over by the prince." how did you find this!?!?!" i said in anger. literally i was so mad if i were a pot with food in side all the food would be burnt." oh Ella, i am soon to be a duchess i have eyes everywhere and once i have my hands on the throne my daughters will need a prince, a ruler for when i pass and i think that this prince will be a fine suitor for one of your sisters. so you better stay away from him, it might ruin the chances for your sisters. tell you what if i do get the throne ill share the money." then she looked at my step sisters and told then to get ready for a royal visit to the prince and that i wasn't invited. so i had to take care of the house at home it was such a bore i couldn't go one minute without thinking about where they were and what was happening. then they came home and my step mom called my sisters to the dinning room and i wanted to have a peek so i stuck my head inside and overheard then talking about an invitation to a ball the prince was holding to one get rid of the stress and two to PARTAY! so i asked if i was invited but they said one big fat NO.Hours later when everyone was asleep i crept downstairs and looked at the invite:

My family has taken the time to send out one last invite and i chose to give it to you even though i couldn't quite catch your name i want you to come to my ball its at 7:00-12:00 i hope you can make it and i do say I'm sorry again for tripping over you i hope to see you there!
