Since with the time the two groups slowly started to became friends and form a good understanding between their group. Both yibo's and zhan's friends all where busy in their lecture and to explore the uni.

(University Cafeteria)
All of them would meet in the cafeteria if they have same time for break. They would meet up and talk about their lectures to jokes and to whatever they are interested in, occasionally roast someone too. In midst of all this , zhan and yibo never truly directly talk to each other much. There weren't much familiar with each other though they wanted to know more about one another they were seems to be hesitant for some reasons.
It was just like another day for their group as they all planned to meet up in the cafeteria since they have break at the same time. Jiyang, haoxuan,ziyi,dilreba,yangyang,yu bin and zhan were seating in the cafeteria waiting for yibo to come.while they talk to each other about their day in uni. Suddenly then, a zhan's phone ring indicating someone has call him snapping everyone's attention on him.
While smiling apologiticaly he said, "I need to attend this call. I'll excuse myself for a minute". Saying that he left the table and walked towards at the lone place in the cafeteria to talk. Yibo also was coming towards the cafeteria or more specific to their friend's table. When he saw zhan talking to someone on the phone though he was curious to know who was that person but he knows he can't be like this.
Even knowing he shouldn't eardrop someone still he couldn't help himself but to go their and listen to whom and what zhan is talking. Just after yibo got behind zhan to listen his talk ,zhan ended the call and was about to go on his friend's table. Zhan got startled by the arms which held his waist and a hand which grip his wrist pulling him towards the person.
"Yibo!? What are you doing?",zhan said in a sacred tone.
"You were about to get burned by the hot coffee which that person was carrying". Yibo said in a cold tone while pointing in the forward direction where a person was carrying a tray of hot coffee mug.zhan smiled at him as thank you gesture as he freed his wrist from yibo's grip to walk to the table but yibo again grabbed it and pressed zhan's body against wall so that no one can see them both. He asked, "Do I look scary to you"?
Zhan was dumbfounded at the time but after few seconds he react hesitantly while saying, out"N-No.." but in his mind he thought you look so handsome though a bit scary with your expressionless face and cold personality..
"Then do I look like a bad person to you"?, he questioned again.
"N-no",zhan again replied.
" Then, why do you look so hesitant to talk with me"?, yibo said again.
"It- it just you always look cold and you have distant personality too. S-so I thought maybe you don't liked to be talked much that's why I didn't really talk to you",zhan said while being a bit sacred.
"Then how about we both tried to talk with each other and try to learn more about one another",yibo said while saying the last sentence with nervousness.
" Sure, why not!" , zhan replied with his signature smile.
"You know,you have such a pretty smile",yibo said while smiling a little bit.
"Haha,thanks I knew my parents does says to it all the time but I didn't knew that Mr.Wang Yibo can flirt too.As far as I heard he never really talks to anyone", Zhan said with a teasing smile on his face.
"What!? N-No it's not like that! I wasn't flirting with you. I was genuinely saying", Yibo said being tense that he was misunderstood.
"Hahaaha! Yibo I was just teasing you Little.since, you said we should be friends then isn't there is teasing in friendships". zhan said while biting his lips as to not to laugh.
"Hmm yeah",yibo said calmed down a bit as he wasn't misunderstood.
"Let's go to the table", zhan said.yibo also nodded as both of them got near towards the table on which theirs friends were sitting.
"You both came! Let's eat", said ziyi as she looked at them both.
After that yibo and zhan's friendship started to improve they would talk to each other without any awkwardness.They started become close to each other .
Their journey started from just being friends to becoming best friends. Both of them find their own personality compatible with each other. One was bubbly and warm like a sun and the other one was calm and restrained like a moon.They find a perfect balance in their this new found friendship which fastly grew in themselves.
But, just when yibo and zhan's were growing close to each other there where started to spread rumours about them being in a relationship or how can a poor class person befriend with Wang yibo.
Many people in the college believe that zhan was actually trying to take advantage of yibo. It increases day by day as nobody care about the rumours nor yibo neither their friends. Though Zhan cares about rumours he even said to yibo one day about and clarified that he doesn't have any wrong intention towards yibo and that he just want to be his friend.
Yibo always told him that he trusted him that he knows zhan isn't like and that he shouldn't focus on those cheap and baseless rumours. It always makes Zhan feel relieved that yibo doesn't think bad or never judged him for being from a middle class family.
It was quite opposite of that, yibo always had been admiring him about his hard work and intelligence. Praises zhan for his efforts he would put in them.
In the midst of this all,both had know there was a connection between them that even they also didn't get it or didn't even know how to put that in words. _________________________
