The evolution from homo sapien to homo lifia,"Live", that reportedly occurred at the transition between the first and second millennia A.D was spontaneous and with no rooted explanation.
Even more mysterious is the further evolution into homo hexinia, "Haxyns", shown to Pacifia decades ago. Before that, there had been a folklore of a total of nine century-gapped societies of these beings.
According to the folklore, those haxyns that appeared early twentieth century would be the tenth society but most experts report that their mode of emergence doesn't support the existence of any other society before them nor the possibility of another such emergence.
Despite the established facts, there's still belief that there WILL be another society of haxyns, one that will not only flourish better than the last but also pay homage to the existence of its predecessors.
In the bottom floor of a classroom block, the space between the opposite path of classes is an empty one which has two channels of sunlight from its ends without doors. There are lockers arranged at the corners of the area.
At the assortment of metal-dyed-green compartment for books, bags and other collectibles, a tall and moderately bulked teenager is spotted hanging at the locker in a very weary tone in his eyes.
He was about sleeping by resting his forehead against the lockers while standing but was alerted out of it by two classmates coming into the block.
"This is your reaction to a fairytale being real?!" Bezebe calls him from afar.
The boy swings his body with a new weight pulling him down from his sleeping position, turning around to face them.
"You guys should be worrying about your slack in baseball. Not fantasizing cheats to get stronger." Elijah gets up properly to walk away.
"Not like that. Just imagine having those powers." Bezebe...
"Dey there. Aren't you the CEO of anti-him? There's no guarantee we'll see the society or be part of it. Just take the fact as fiction for...(yawns)." Elijah stops for a bit as he zones out.
"Why so exhausted?" Josaphat...
"You guys know Kyjah can't be active. Had to pull off an all nightery of knocking out a sugar rush before it starts over and over." Elijah pulls his face down in emphasis before half-dozing.
"Ohh yeah! We almost forgot to tell you." Josaphat...
"He's about to play football in the back field." Bezebe...
"...WHAT!" Elijah took time to gain the vitality to dash out of there.
Behind the classroom block is a field with two square like posts. A student wearing a golden shirt and black shorts that has Elijah's eyes but a different face stands on the field with about seven classmates.
The goalkeeper at the post holds the ball with nerve as he rest are randomly dotted around the field with a similar nerve towards the sugar rushed child.
"Are you sure you won't mutate into some alien if you do this?" The goalkeeper...
"Bro. Chill! How can you expect me to go through childhood without playing a sport?" Kyjah...
"Many people you go to class with are doing that." One of the readied strikers...
"Well I don't want to do that. NOTHING is going to stop-"
Kyjah freezes at the sight of one of the many things that can ironically stop him.
"Ever since his birth, Kyjah has had some kind of implied disability." Elijah the narrator...
