Kyjah crashes through one last tree before grazing against some ground. He sits up, dusting the dirt off his face and looks up through the canopy, seeing a sun that's still very bright despite the slow but assured recession of the day.
He continues to go forward slowly since the landscape is currently dense with only magenta colour standing out across the shadows and brown structures.
Eventually, he gets past the forest into a land with many curved elevations in sea level that flatten the grass into soil at higher altitudes.
The child sharply decides not to deal with such a naturally malformed field so leaps of the first small bump into great altitudes. He gets a better view of the mother of all of these risings, modified into a hardened soil at a few hundreds of metres into the atmosphere.
Around its middle, a level where Kyjah is currently situated at, he spots three large figures of a flying animal which have very small statures on them.
Before he gets a chance to receive any information of what's in the distance, a stream of hawks attacks him, brought from all angles to refract and dash straight for him from the view line between him and the three unknown entities.
Reacting in time with a highly subsonic speed, he swings and dices, punching the daylights out of all the birds coming after him in military formation all without barely being displaced from his position in the air except by the force of the leap.
"Look like that Lion was right on the money." Dajo is on a giant hawk which has already began the U-turn away from the child.
"Still, the cube isn't fleshed out enough to take 'im out. We gotta-" Chaseni, and the others, are stunned as they observe jets off a flat elongated triangular shape with pointed cylindrical jets, a typical shape, rush them from ahead and their ten and two o'clocks.
"Th-They're supposed to be dealing with Ricathan in the last region!" Melko observes the town bordered by the large plateau they flew over as an area to dodge.
They are still in the region of the last town.
"I'm thinking what you're thinking. Let's do it!" Dajo drops down with the falcon making the others follow suit into the town with no affluent look or feel, being clustered and rural compared to an average suburb.
Kyjah observes from afar on his end and watches as the incoming jets launch a number of attacks on the descending birds, getting and damaging each of them with heavy artillery at one wing with a glamorous ignition.
The irritation is even greater as they lose their ability to fly and drop into the town with a thin smoke trail following.
"I-Is that a fallen angel?" A resident jerks up in negative excitement.
"We're long past the time for that mate." The neighbour's calm disposition beckons him to focus.
Kyjah reaches the plateau at the mid-altitude he had been aiming for the whole while and drags his way up in crawl to the large rising's steepness.
On hearing a few more indistinct noises from withing the settlement, he rushes up quite faster and gets to the peak, getting a full view of the large, dense settlement facing a few turbulences at various spots.
At his ten o'clock, a large destruction radius was formed by the giant hawks' crash landing. They're wings have been extinguished but the damage done keeps them in place.
Kyjah takes a concentrated eye view and magnifies, spotting soldiers, apparently out of the jet, are making they're way to the trio and their dog who showed up after the crash. They're not in the level of distress one would expect.
