• Her magic!
The Star god and spirit traveled along the phlox flowers, creating many buildings out of stardust which seemed like they had the taste of hard, colorful candy~
Many round and plump stars smiled from above in the sky they cast their vision down on the growing realm of Star.
With the launch star reestablished, it was only a matter of time before (Y/n) would go to other realms to complete the Communications system due to the separation of realms into orbs.
"Can you make a cat statue?" Kenma's head fell to the side in curiosity.
Her stars were reflecting in his golden eyes in amazement as the Star god had already created a city for visiting spirits.
(Y/n) smirked, "Of course I can!" She said confidently as she raised a hand to direct the candy-like stardust to the emptiness of the white flower field before them.
From the sky, the lumas focused on the rainbow cloud of stardust whirling like a small tornado as it became a gold statue of a cat.
She proudly put her hands on her hips as Kenma awed the work of a god.
"After finishing things up here, we'll go to Daichi," Her (e/c) eyes sought confirmation.
Kenma's face twisted in confusion, "Who's Daichi?"
(Y/n) eyebrows raised as she reminded herself that it was Kenma's first time in the God realm.
"The master of the winds, Daichi the wind god!" She pointed at Kenma, "We cannot use magic in his realm because his people cannot, and because of that, he will not allow himself to use magic."
"Commit that to memory." Her eyes narrowed.
Her words ran like a freezing breeze, despite the white yukata he wore. Although, he had no choice but to listen either way.
Many animals from afar walked towards the city (Y/n) had created out of stardust, they walked as if it were a parade. Each animal had a translucent body as the cat with outlined stripes settled down in a nest meant for the chirping birds.
She saw life filling her realm once again in Kenma's reflective eyes, the wonder and awe captured firsthand in front of her as winds softly blew the sides of his hair off.
The Star god's realm had once been filled with many villages, the spirits would share their housing with the enormous or tiny animals they wished to live with.
Yet one day, the sky did not have its indigo night sky. It went black, and the Lumas fought to shine against the nightmare of a sky but with their tiny bodies and limited power without their god, the Lumas fell.
They did not twinkle and an overwhelming darkness took over like the darkness of the shut eyes the Star god saw during her energy-restoring slumber.
"Does that mean we cannot get to him using a fortune slip?" Kenma spoke up.
She paused with a proud face, already amused that he'd understand the magic of the god realm.
"That's right, Kenma." (Y/n) softly praised as she watched her realm become lively.
The Lumas danced on the blue night sky as if it were straight out of a children's book. She watched as Kenma's eyes explored the world around him as they strolled past the city he watched the Star god create out of her element of star.
Kenma would come across a shop just like the one back in Oikawa's realm, yet the plants and flowers are translucent; Following the aesthetic of the animals and spirits of stardust.
He would put his hand in his loose white sleeve and pull out the earrings he had bought earlier. The gem inside the four-corner silver star twinkled with purple hues in his palm.
The spirit held them in a loosely clenched hand as he and the Star god continued to walk the path the phlox flower laid out for them to their next destination: The Wind god's realm.
(Y/n) extended her hand out to the invisible barrier that blurred the path before them.
"You can let me know when you're feeling tired," She pressed her hand on the barrier, "It's going to be a while..." (Y/n) chuckled.
"I'll endure it so you can use your energy on important things." He asserted.
She extended out her other hand to pull Kenma out of her realm. It was like passing through a waterfall with no water yet with the heavy pressure from the barrier.
He tightly closes his eyes, preparing to fall again like when before (Y/n) claimed her realm.
Soft giggles reached his ears.
"We're not going to fall again Kenma." (Y/n) held a hand over her mouth at Kenma's stiff body.
His golden eyes immediately sprouted open and she stood with a grinning look as they both stood on nothingness.
(Y/n) slightly pulled their interlocked hands, "We can use the glass stairs now because I own a realm now!"
The spirit sighed in relief as he followed his guide, contently exploring with his eyes the many possibilities of realms in the in-between space. The orbs showed a foggy image of each possible realm there is.
Some were filled with their most abundant resource such as water, roses, and moonlight.
The Star god looked back at him as he focused on what she pointed at.
It was an orb with hills, tall trees, and mountains. Almost like Oikawa's realm at first except for the clear blue skies, it had a cloudy, gloomy-looking sky.
As they flew up the glass spiral stairs, the waves of the sea felt near.
(Y/n)'s hand let go of Kenma, her other hand was up, ready to meet Daichi on the other side of the barrier yet her interlocked hand fell.
Kenma leaned forward to peek at her face, the aura she once had disappeared; It was a strong one, it was a godly sense that felt that (Y/n), the Star god, had authority.
The waves resounded all around the in-between space, where there was no sound except for one's breathing.
He waved a hand at her stunned face, "(Y/n), we're almost there, what's holding you back?" Kenma said as he tried to motivate her.
The whistle of a whale jerked her awake from her frozen stature, "Kenma...!" She swiftly stood on guard.
"Did you do anything!"
She grabs him by the shoulders, his gold eyes widen in shock as she sees her (e/c) hues from Kenma's eyes.
"...I did...nothing..." The timid spirit utters out cowardly.
The spirit shakes in her hold, she releases him out of the realization that she has intimidated her spirit. (Y/n) casts her vision downward, "...Sorry,"
She puts a hand over her right eye as the same hand yanks him into the realm.
Kenma kept his eyes open this time, he gazed at his interlocked hand with hers. No doubt it was blurred, the barrier obscured his vision while she guided him out of the unknown space and into Daichi's realm.
The earthly atmosphere evoked his senses, gusts of wind waved his hair to the side and a series of awakening caws welcomed him.
(Y/n) narrows her eyes, "It's gone..."
Kenma turns to the Star god, "Who?"
"Someone more evil than his name suggests." She said in a warning tone.
Kenma presses her hand against his chest, "Despite that, you can beat him right?" His determined eyes shoved her disparity away, "We can beat him."
Her (e/c) eyes tiredly knew that wasn't the case at all, there was no way someone of the stars could beat let alone a spirit of the seas.
"I'm weak Kenma," She admits, "with the way the seas made me a millennium ago, there's no way I could engage in combat again."
"If you hear the waves of the ocean and the whistle of a whale, run." (Y/n) cautions her spirit.
She turns her foot to walk the path in front of them, (Y/n) leaves with an unsettling dim aura around her as if she recovered a foreign memory.
"This is where we part Kenma, and...sorry about not being up to your standards." The celestial god smiled weakly at her spirit.
(Y/n) continues to walk off into the fog with her head hung low.
Seven crows flock down from their trees as they surround Kenma as he stands with all his strength flowing out from top to bottom.
"Why?"
The crows picked up his voice, with their black eyes; One turned its head.
"What's wrong, (Y/n)?" He desperately told the disappearing figure that turns into fog.
The hill before him beckons him to chase, yet Kenma's feet are rooted in the dirt path he did not dare to continue.
Kenma sorrowfully gazes at the earrings he had bought for his guide, his deity.
A crow caws at him, urging Kenma to get a move on.
It was almost as if they resonated with his ambitions to chase.
With a gentle finger, he bent down to pet the head of the one with an orange tie on its neck, "Will you guys follow me?" He sincerely pleaded in a weak tone, Kenma knew deep inside his heavy heart, that the crows understood.
They nodded eagerly in unison, as one turned its claw to lead the rest on the dirt path on the hill.
Winds from behind also pushed him forward to take the first step.
Kenma sighs contently, "Please, guide the way."
Some crows turned their heads at each other and went to follow the one with a beige scarf who already started walking.

In a dimly lit room filled with small candles in the far corners of the tatami room, (Y/n) slips out of her garments as they fall flat on the floor.
The tatami door slides open and the crow tengu's eyes fixated on the Star god's bruised body.
"So that's why you came." Daichi's voice filled her ears.
"The communications system is the next important thing to me but," (Y/n) turns her naked body to him, "I need your remedy, Wind god."
(Y/n)'s back is dyed purple with gashes deep enough to see the whiteness of her spine, each patch pulses when blood flows through a vein.
"Kenma can't know about him." She quietly mentions.
Daichi huffs, "Is that why you left him behind," he slides the tatami door shut, sternly narrowing his eyes at her "How could you do that!"
She sits on top of her garments, "I told you already," she hissed, "he cannot know about Sakusa."
"-You can hear the ocean waves (Y/n), Ushijima who took away the magic of my people is near and you put Kenma at risk of that!"
"Hello!" A calm and mellow shadow calls out in a harmonious tone.
(Y/n) perks up, "-God of Longevity!"
He sternly clears his throat as the snake wrapped around his neck hisses at the Star god.
"I mean the God of powdered sugar..."
"Yes, yes, and you could also say Sugawara Koshi." He covers his mouth with his loose sleeve, "Don't get so feisty over Kenma, after all, he doesn't know about the Nighttime war."
"I sent Daichi's crows to go protect him, so stop fighting you two."
The God of wind and the God of stars shared glances.
"Can you make sure-"
"-Your secret is safe here, (Y/n), but I think Kenma deserves an apology when he gets here."
(Y/n) grumbles at the thought, "Fine, that'll even things out."
Sugawara's shadow shakes his head, "It has to be sincere (Y/n), or else I'm telling him." He tightened his tone.
She tugs at the roots of her hair, "Fine! Just go!"
(Y/n)'s hands wander at her murky back, "Daichi don't waste time, it's eating me alive..." She struggles out, panting.
The tiny bowl in Daichi's hand had an ointment treated by the winds.
An overwhelming gash from a millennium ago progressed to the point of pure disgustingness and rubbish. Daichi struggles to dip his fingers to glaze the ointment on her open wound from an accumulation of karma.
With a deep breath, he went ahead and spread the clear substance on her exposed spine, which repelled the rottenness of her skin that ate itself alive.
Her fist punched the tatami mat, she screamed in agony as he continued to spread the ointment to the rest of her body.
(Y/n) wails as his hand gently grazes over other murky purple patches laid out over her whole body.
"Daichi..." She whimpers, breathing heavily, "How much longer..."
"(Y/n), I've barely started..." He admits.
The treatment of the winds grazes her skin once again, this time she bites her lip and draws blood. With teary eyes, (Y/n) regrets leaving Kenma behind, but he cannot find out about him.
