Flying Into My Heart

I'M FINALLY LEAVING MY DAMN HOUSE!!!

I sat there waiting until my dad came from work to then get the final things ready for us to leave to the airport. I have to wait a long ass time until he arrives. Even more waiting  after that until my dad's friend comes to pick us up and take us to the airport. It's only 9:30 pm and my dad doesn't get out at work until 12 am. Then it takes him 30 minutes to get to the house. He then has to get dressed and wait for his friend to arrive which will be at around 3. You see how long I have to wait? It's such a pain!!! (Especially when you want to get the hell out of your house and just get to the airport and leave this boring life behind for a while).

Ohh!! I'm sorry!! I haven't introduced myself yet. My name is Scarlett Blackwell. I am a 14 year old girl that wants to get the hell out of the U.S. Its really boring here and I don't do much except watch anime, watch YouTube videos, listen to music, and read (not that I hate those things. It just that it sometimes gets boring doing that every single day). I only live with my mom and dad (with no siblings :( ). My parents are the best and are very fun but it can get very lonely since sometimes they are just too busy. Lots of the time it's just hanging out by myself.

That's why I am very excited today!! I get to leave the U.S. and finally get to see my family (which I haven't seen in 4 years). Now, my family doesn't live 3 hours from where I live. They literally live in another country. It's like 8 hours away!! The first flight is 6 hours and the other one is 2 hours. So basically I have to spend 8 hours on my trip (without any sleep). It's 9:30 pm like I told you and our flight is at 6 am. (I am not sleeping by the way. With this excitement, hell naw!!).

So yeah....... That's everything that is going on and that you should know. I look at the clock to see if time went by and thankfully, it did. It's currently 10:15. 45 minutes to explain all that!?! Damn!!!

I glance to the side and see my mom sleeping on they other couch.

"She must be really tired and stressed out about this," I say in my mind. "She deserves a rest. I know that she won't be able to sleep at all on the plane."

I bring my attention back to the clock. I just wished that the clock moved much more faster!! I wanna leave and get to the airport already!! I'm already dressed up, have my hair done (did it in curls!! I have to look presentable in front of my family), and my nails. Speaking of my nails, I take a glance at my nails and I get that same smile again. My nails are painted blue with little white lightning bolts on the side. Every time I look at my nails, it reminds me of my one and only crush.

Yes, I am admitting that I actually have a crush on an anime character. What can I say? He is an amazing, caring, funny, kind, and a badass person. Every since I first saw him appear on episode 2 of Hunter X Hunter, I felt an instant feeling in my heart. Watching him having fun and having amazing friends made me a bit jealous. I never had amazing friends like Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio and I never had a fun adventure like going into Greed Island or taking an exam like the Hunter Exam. Sometimes I just feel like I have no purpose in life. I just go through the same routine every day unlike those four.

Anyways, enough of me feeling bad about myself!! I have to think positive!! I am going to Cuba to see my family!!! I should be happy and not moap around!! I glance at the clock once more and see that it is 10:35.

"Maybe I should try taking a nap," I thought. "That way by the time I wake up, hopefully lots of time has went by!!"

I lie down on the couch and take up the whole space. I close my eyes and wait to see if I can fall asleep. About 5 minutes later, I was feeling sleepy and drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

I wake up to see my mom and dad talking to each other. I rub my eyes to get the sleep out of my eyes and look at my surroundings. I see that our 4 big luggages and the other small one are already out and are placed on the floor.
