Chapter 62 -- Looks like I haven't changed at all --

Your fly to Savareen was truly a short one, and soon enough after leaving Tatooine's atmosphere you were closing in on your next planet to explore. Unlike Tatooine which was entirely desert, with moisture farming and water being highly tradable resources Savareen had enough water and humidity present on its surface to support large bodies of water and a few rivers. There were also some flora and fauna around these oasis' spotted around the planet. In addition to the sizable cities built around the larger lakes of life-giving water.

Similar to Tatooine you landed in a small town. It had a high enough population that warranted visits, but was not so financially prosperous that the Empire would be inclined to move in. You could feel the heat as soon as the Havoc Marauder had landed and Wrecker opened the door. The ship dock you were using was barren, again only containing ships covered in a layer of sand from lack of use.

"Not to many visitors. These ships haven't flown in a while" Omega comments, and Hunter nods "thats a good sign".

This was the town of Hypnos, and was a town mostly comprised of small farmers and craftsmen specializing in glass.

You looked out of the windshield to observe the warm sun and resting palm trees you could see in the distance. You had landed right about midday. Wrecker and Omega were excited to go again, and Tech offered to remain with the ship, but you had put a hand on his shoulder and said "I'd actually like to stay with the ship this time. I think you should explore".

Tech wasn't sure about this, evidently reluctant to leave his ship especially if you would not be coming. But Omega had already grabbed his hand "It's been forever since you've joined us!" and Wrecker added on "yeah, it will be fun with you along! Come on Tech!".

Hunter nodded in agreement, so the three of them set out with one backpack towards the main area of the city leaving you and Hunter on the ship. They had all squabbled about in the middle area so you had stood near your bunk in front of the blanket wall staying out of the way until they had left. With them now departed you saw that Hunter was just casually seated on the wall hairs without his usual armor.

"Didn't feel like going?" you ask, although the glance you gave him indicated more than that. You were thinking that Hunter had stuck around to 'keep an eye on you'. In one way it was nice that they cared, but you honestly wanted to be left alone ... which is not something you can do in these close quarters often.

Hunter noticed your posture and stood replying "Didn't feel like a city exploration, busy markets and streets aren't my area of expertise. But if you are all good here," -Hunter returned your glance with a smile-"I'm thinking of heading down to the oasis and checking it out."

"Sure" you reply back, your expression growing more relaxed "I can hold down the fort".

"Alright" said Hunter, making sure his vibro-knife was in its sheath and his weapons at the ready. He made his way towards the hallway, and you followed him to the doorway, before he stepped out, he turned back to you his face accidentally closer to you then he had been in ages. His dark eyes captured your surprised attention but what he told you next was even more captivating "We got some more news from Rex. More sightings in the Bryx sector, and they might have found the planet they've been taking clones too".

"Really?" you ask, your shock showing on your face "Where?"

"Theres one of two possibilities" Hunter explained starting to walk down the stairwell and you leaned out the door, feeling the afternoon heat present in the air. "Rex is making a plan to further investigate but he'll need all the forces he can muster to have any impact"-Hunter looked back to you with his serious brown eyes and you smiled again- "Does that include us?" you replied, and Hunter chuckled "pretty much".
