As I woke up I could feel my wrists were sore. I heard the TV was on. I didn't watch TV last night. That's when I realized, I hadn't remembered even going home last night. Startled I opened my eyes to see I was sleeping on a couch. I sat up quickly and noticed I wasn't even in my house. Panicking I searched for my phone which was on an end table. It was 10:00 in the morning. Pressure filled my head and I had to put it down.
I picked my head back up and looked around it was a really nice modern apartment. "Where the hell am I?" I whispered to myself.
I heard footsteps coming from the hallway. I needed to get something to protect me with. I grabbed a poker stick sitting against the fireplace and hid so I could attack if I needed to.
So many questions ran through my mind as the footsteps got louder. Where am I? What happened to me last night? Did I black out and have a one night stand? How am I going to get the hell out of here?
As I gripped the pole I noticed bruises on my wrists and arms witch made me even more nervous. Was I raped?
As the figure came out from the hallway I was ready to strike when I noticed who it was.
Gerald.
"Woah woah, hold up I'm not gunna hurt you!" He said holding his hands up guarding his face.
"Gerald?" I said very confused and put the poker down. "Why am I here? We didn't... Did we?"
"No." he walked over to the couch, sat down and patted next to him for me to sit there. Witch I did.
"First before I tell you what happened gunna need your name." he rested his arm in the back of the couch.
"I'm Vanessa."
"Nice to formally meet you Vanessa. So listen last night I was watching you because of two reasons, A: there was something about you that make you stick out from the crowd."
"What I had something in my teeth?" I interrupted.
"No, you looked actually really beautiful." I smirked "And B: whoever that guy you were talking to seemed sketchy, and I knew it for sure when your friend had to leave. He put something in your drink, most likely a roofie."
Shock hit me like a brick wall. I covered my mouth with both my hands. "You saw him put something in my drink and didn't come up and warn me?" I said frustrated.
"No, not necessarily. I knew something was up when you passed out on the bar. He must have told the bar tender you were with him and took you outside the club with him. That's when I finally got up and followed. When I had gotten outside of the club I had lost sight of you and him. I checked the alleyway and there was a van parked back there. He had you propped up in the trunk undoing his belt. So then I ran over to you as fast as I could and got him off of you. I beat his face and knocked him unconscious. Then I picked you up and had to bring you home knowing you weren't going to be up anytime soon."
"Oh my god, that's so fucked up. I feel like you saved my life Gerald! Thank you so much!" I reached out and wrapped my arms around him tightly. He hugged me back. His smell was musky and warm. It was heaven.
"No problem. I couldn't have let that happen." His hand moved up my neck and his fingers moved through my hair. Every girls weakness. "Alright you must be starving, what do you want?"
"Oh no don't put that on me. That's too big of a decision." I sarcastically said.
"Okay so waffles?" he said with a smirk.
"Yes please!" I beg.
"Alright perfect, my room is down the hall to the right. You'll find clean shirts in my dresser. Go put one on and you can freshen up if you want to in the bathroom. The waffles will be ready in about 15 minutes."
