Rays of sunlight peak through the gaps of the curtain window beside the bed you laid on. The sudden light is noticed by your body, causing your eyes to open; telling you that morning has come.

You groan at the sudden attack of sunlight– rubbing your eyes as you take a look at your surroundings. To your surprise, the space beside you is empty and made up. As you gain your full awareness, you sit up from the bed to scan around the hotel room.

"Where could he be?" You say, in a groggy tone. Not thinking too much about it, you decide to get up and take advantage of the shower as you were practically alone in this hotel room.

After a much needed shower, you wrap yourself in a towel before heading out the washroom to get your clothes. What you don't expect is Scott, sitting on the hotel bed with his eyes glued to the phone.

Scott hears the door open, causing his eyes to look up at yours and gasps, before closing his eyes. You look at him with a subtle worried expression– which should be because you were just wrapped in a towel alone, but you were more focused on how Scott got back in without making a single sound at all.

"I-I'm so sorry! I can go back out if you want. I swear I didn't mean to–" He utters in a hurried tone, stuttering in between. For a second, you swear you catch a look of his flustered cheeks.

"Relax, Scott. Just keep your eyes closed and you'll be fine." You shrug.

Scott takes in a deep breath, sighing as he keeps his eyes shut, a hand over them now as well.

"Was this your plan all along? To leave the room and give me a false sense of security so you could catch me in just my towel? or better yet, naked?" You tease, giggling as you catch his cheeks grow a brighter shade of red.

"N-No! I swear– I had no idea you were gonna wake up– I just went to get some ice!" He mutters, stuttering in between. His flustered tone causes you to giggle.

"Who gets ice in this day and age? Admit you're just a perv." You say sarcastically, shuffling through your luggage to find the right attire for today.

Your comment is met with nothing but stutters and stammering from Scott, to which you laugh at. His flustered self was an amusing sight, you thought.

"I'm just kidding, Scott. Get a hold of yourself." You shrug, before giggling once again. "You can open your eyes now, by the way." You add, before heading into the bathroom to change.

Scott lets out a loud sigh of relief, to causing you to softly chuckle. Due to your new profound knowledge of Scott's admiration for you, you seem to find it all the more entertaining to make him so flustered.

As you change into the right attire, you head back out to pack up your luggage, as Scott does the same. The clock hits 9 AM, and both you and Scott are out of the hotel to meet with Chris and Chef in the hotel lobby to head back onto the plane to reach your next destination.

Getting on the plane, you catch a few glimpses of sleepy faces and groggy expressions– which you can't help but feel bad for due to their accommodation from the night before. You decide to shrug it off before deciding where to sit. Behind you was Scott who was also doing the same, and in light of the slight tension between you both, you decide to not ask him to sit with you.

To your luck, you catch an empty seat behind Bridgette who was on her phone as well. You decide it'd be best to sit beside her instead of reliving an awkward conversation with Scott throughout the whole journey.
