Chapter 13 - Farewell

Ethan's POV

The day of my departure arrived with a mix of excitement and sadness. As I packed my bags, the reality of leaving Mia behind weighed heavily on my heart. We had promised to make it work, to stay connected despite the distance, but the unknown future still loomed before us like a daunting challenge.

As I stood on the beach, the waves crashing against the shore, I felt a sense of unease settle over me. I knew that leaving Mia behind would be one of the hardest things I'd ever have to do, but I also knew that it was necessary for both of us to pursue our dreams.

"I'll miss you," Mia said, her voice barely above a whisper as she wrapped her arms around me.

"I'll miss you too," I replied, holding her close. "But this isn't goodbye, Mia. It's just a temporary separation. We'll find a way to make it work, I promise."

And as I looked into her eyes, filled with tears and uncertainty, I knew that our love would be enough to see us through whatever challenges lay ahead.

Mia's POV
