Oddy awoke on an uncomfortable bed, in a significantly smaller room than their own. A sigh escaped their lips. They shouldn't have done that, they knew it would only cause trouble, but sometimes the orderlies just pissed them off so much, just by existing. they were reminded of this fact when a disgusting meal on a clear plastic tray was slid through a little slot under a door. "Thanks," they said sarcstically, not even getting up, instead, closing their eyes and trying to take a nap.

During their little nap, Oddy dreamt of a forest, filled with amazing beings, such as fairies in leaf suits, or bewinged men in top hats. Oddy always had extremely vivid dreams, and they were lucid at least seventy percent of the time. They had been running through the wood with bare feet, the moss on the ground seeming to push them to go faster. They were just about to leap up to the lowest hanging branch of a tree who's name Oddy didn't know, when they felt a sharp pain on their right ears, like someone was pinching it.

"Ow! Hey! Get the fuck off!" They shouted, waving their hand next to their ear, but whoever was putting them in pain deftly evaded them. Oddy opened their eyes to see the fairy with whom they had conversed with earlier.  "What do you want?" They said, obviously annoyed. The fairy seemed to give minimals fucks about their attitude.

"Are you going to eat that?" The fairy asked with a pleading voice. Oddy looked at the little creature with dreary eyes, sometimes they almost thought their hallucinations were real, the pain on their ear felt real enough. "What? No, you can have it, I don't care. It tastes like shit anyways." they flicked the bug off of their ear and turned to go back asleep, sitting in the corner, hugging their legs. Darkness filling up their thoughts, and eventually, their consciousness.

Oddy woke up a few hours later, well, in all honesty, they had no clue how long they had been asleep, they were just guessing, there was no sun in the room they were in, nor was there a clock. There was, however, a mirror. They immediately assumed that it was a one way mirror, one through which the orderlies or doctor could see them, but they, couldn't see back. They got up and approached the glass.

They stood there, looking at themself. They were surprised at what they saw, it had been a while since they had seen their appearance. Their once half shaved head had gown out since they'd last seen it, and the dye was fading, leaving only the dirty red colour, they had come to despise.  They hadn't been allowed to keep their piercings in the beginning, but eventually, after almost a year of consistent begging. The staff allowed them to have plastic piercings and nothing else. Their eyes, which they used to makeup, and put eye shadow on no longer required it, they were dark enough on their own, with the bags under their eyes. They bared their teeth at the mirror, a habit they had had for a very long time, no one on the outside thought much of it, but in here it was usually seen as aggressive behavior.

"FucK I'M HUNgry." Oddy half shouted, turning to where they had left the tray. It wasn't there. Their eyes flicked around the cell quickly and they soon saw the tray on the bed, but it was barren, nothing left there to eat. Oddy's brow knitted as they contemplated. "Do I sleep eat? If so, why am I still hungry?" They pondered this for another moment before remembering the fairy in the suit and how it had asked for their lunch. They shook the thought out of their head, there's no way a hallucination could actually eat their lunch, unless that is, it wasn't a hallucination.
