Shortly after the call, Felix fastly broke the first promise of staying still as he immediately made his way back inside the club to meet with his friends once again, finding it more sensible than waiting alone outside. Broke the second promise as he took many one last shots of whiskey before beading them goodbye.

Despite this, his friends still refused to let him leave as they deemed it too early for him to go home despite it being two in the morning. They were in a constant battle of push and pull, giggling at each other's silliness for no reason at all, but who cares? They were drunk and everything was just funnier than usual even if they really weren't.

Suddenly, someone familiar in built and hazy memory came into his view, all blurry but still too clear even through the fogginess in his head to ever deny.

A smile so tender crept over Felix's lips, eyes just as soft, mind washed away of any other thought that wasn't the male in front of him with mid length dark hair that contradicted his porcelain white skin.

“Hello, fiancé,” He muttered gently, words falling like a cloud from his rough lips. “Why are you here, Hyunjinnie?”

“Really, Felix?”

One of his friends commented on the side which Felix ignored, unwilling to take his eyes off of his handsome alpha who looked so out of place in that measly club, standing out like a sore thumb in the sea of people that Felix would go as boldly as to compare to stones beside the alpha who definitely shone like a diamond in the rough that very moment.

“For you,” Hyunjin simply adhered, offering a hand to the slightly lucid omega which he took without grace, letting the other pull him close and loop a hand around his waist. “My sweetheart, it might be that you went a little overboard with the drinking. Your face is red.”

“Yeah? Then kiss me.”

Hyunjin, being the ever so sweet alpha that he was, did as he was told and kissed him… on the top of his head. As much as it sent the things taking home in his stomach go wild, this didn't feel right for Felix just yet – didn't feel enough and he couldn't help the pout that sprouted on his swollen lips. He thought the alpha would notice because he wanted him to, but how would that happen if the said male already had his eyes elsewhere?

This had Felix's bogus frown be real. The furrow on his forehead deepened, doe eyes turning into sharpened knives as he traced the fall of Hyunjin's eyes and found him looking at his friends who also looked starstrucked seeing him.

That didn't sit right with him at all.

“Thank you for taking good care of my Yongbok. We're –”

“Your eyes,” Felix pulled Hyunjin's face towards him, this time, really annoyed. “They’re elsewhere and it doesn't please me at all, Hyunjin, and you said that that's your job?”

As he wished, Hyunjin's gaze shifted on him promptly, Felix felt slightly better after.

What had happened to him? His moods kept shifting from one hell to another, even he was already getting dizzy. This kind of moodiness couldn't be blamed on the intoxication caused by the alcohol. These things could only be blamed on Hyunjin. Only Hyunjin.

“Making you unhappy is something I would never do,” Hyunjin pressed a hand on his cheek. “Not if I could help it.”

“Then…”

“I was merely going to thank your friends for taking care of you,” He then gave Felix soft pats on his head. “But if you don't like that, then you have to say proper goodbye to them for the two of us.”
