One day, to my surprise, the girl invited me over to her house to play. Ah, the innocence of kindergarten days!

But,

All she gave me was a vague clue: her house was 3 km away from mine and painted in a vibrant shade of yellow. Now, you might assume I wouldn't bother searching

But when love beckons, even the most daunting tasks become an adventure. So, with my father by my side, we embarked on a quest to find her house, fueled by the irresistible pull of young affection.

For an hour, we scoured the neighborhood, ringing doorbells of various yellow houses, each time greeted by different faces, but never hers. You might think I should've called her mother, but fate had other plans—I didn't even have her mother's number. It seemed luck was not on our side that day.

And so, despite our best efforts, her house remained elusive, and with heavy hearts and tear-streaked cheeks, we returned home empty-handed. Such is the nature of life's twists and turns, where even the simplest of quests can end in unexpected disappointment.

Little did I know, the most surprising twist was yet to unfold—a revelation that would shake the very foundation of my young existence.
