Destiny's POV:I wipe my eyes while gathering my things. I said goodbye to my coworkers and shut my office for the last time, I had just been fired, I tried to smile and find reasons to be happy but I couldn't find any this job was my life, my family, my home. I just landed a role in my first-ever show now it's all over. I have no money no more job and am barely paying my rent.
I leave the building and walk down to the nearest subway station, pacing the floor and waiting I make paper origami, I used to make them all the time when I was little. I wish I could go back to sitting in my pink room with my sister in my childhood town Aston making paper swans and stars lingering around for my mum to call us for dinner, the times are gone now tho.
While I'm folding my last paper swan I see in the corner of my eye the subway. I wait for everyone to get on the I hop on at the last second. I sat next to a lady and her daughter she was wearing pink bows in her pigtails and she had gorgeous amber eyes, she waves at me
and in the cutest tone, she utters the words "I love your hair". I have long thick blonde curly hair and ocean-blue eyes. I've always been complimented on my hair but it feels extra special when it's a little girl saying it. I smile and say "I love yours too" in a sweet tone. She scrunches her little nose, sits next to her mother and holds her hand.I sit thinking in my thoughts, "How will I act again?"
"How will I make money?"
Is repeating in my mind. I don't know why I got fired, I'm a nice person I'm good at acting it feels like complete bullshit I'm so sick of the acting industry. I just want to sit around and watch Gilmore Girls and stuff my face with pizza.
