A/N: I'm so sorry for the late update. I have had this chapter ready for a very long time but I forgot to publish it. other than that, school is irritating, exams are boring, technical issues are annoying. I am back now, so you can count on more frequent updates.
"Come on, Queen Clarion!" Tinkerbell exclaimed.
Clarion laughed at the young tinker's excitement. After weeks and weeks of pleading, Clarion had finally given in and decided to go meet Tinkerbell's human friend. She didn't want to go alone though, and had dragged Milori and the ministers along.
"Calm down, Tinkerbell" Hyacinth said with a huff.
"Yea, yea" Tinkerbell said, but she made no move to slow down.
"Are we there yet?" Redleaf whined a few moments later.
"Go back to pixie hollow" Snowflake commanded.
"We're already at the mainland" Redleaf protested.
"Did I speak a different language?" Snowflake questioned.
"Snowflake, Redleaf" Clarion warned.
A few minutes later they reached a clearing. There was a picnic blanket set up and a human girl was sitting there, presumably Lizzy.
"Hi Tinkerbell!" Lizzy exclaimed.
"Hi Lizzy!" Tinkerbell replied just as enthusiastically. "This is Queen Clarion"
Lizzy gasped when she saw the queen. A smile came across her face as she bowed. "Nice to meet you, your majesty."
Clarion smiled widely and waved at her. It filled her heart to know that she had brought such joy to this girl. "Nice to meet you too Lizzy"
"Who are the others, Tinkerbell?" Lizzy asked curiously.
"This is Hyacinth, Minister Of Spring" as Tinkerbell said that, Hyacinth flew forward.
Lizzy looked at him curiously. Clarion bit back a laugh. "Come on, Cinth. Do something"
Hyacinth grumbled but waved his hand. Suddenly, a bunch of flowers sprouted from the ground. Lizzy stared at them in amazement before she clapped. "That was so cool!"
Even hyacinth had to stop himself from smiling.
"This is Sunflower, Minister Of Summer." Sunflower immediately flew forward and whistled. A bunch of butterflies came from the grass and flew around Lizzy. One landed on her nose, causing her to giggle.
"This is Redleaf, Minister Of Autumn" Tinkerbell said, curious as to what he would do.
Redleaf smirked and with a wave of his hand, the leaves on the trees around them turned red. Lizzy's mouth fell open.
"I win!" Redleaf declared.
"Over my dead body" Snowflake scoffed, before she too flew forward.
"This is Snowflake, Minister Of winter" Tinkerbell introduced quickly.
Snowflake quickly created a small flurry of snow over Lizzy's head. Lizzy looked up in wonder.
"Ok ministers, I think that's enough powers for one day" Clarion chuckled.
Lizzy looked up at all them before she noticed Milori. "Who are you?"
Milori chuckled before urging his owl forward. "I am lord Milori"
"Wow." was all Lizzy could manage.
Tinkerbell giggled before she flew forward and sat on the picnic blanket. "Did you bring the cakes?"
Lizzy looked confused for a second before she nodded. She pulled out some cakes from the picnic basket next to her and laid them out on the blanket.
"You should really try these, Queen Clarion" Tinkerbell said before she grabbed one and devoured it.
Lizzy laughed at her friend. "Tinkerbell!"
Clarion let slip a small chuckle as she grabbed a cake and took a small bite.
"So how is it being in love, Queen Clarion?" Lizzy asked.
Poor clarion almost choked on her cake.
"Well" she said awkwardly. "Love is scary. This feeling of falling terrifies me. The only way it ends is with me hitting the ground."
"Not if I catch you" Milori interjected.
"You can't catch me if you're falling with me" Clarion argued.
"Darling, I started falling long before you did" Milori said with a roll of his eyes.
"It's not like you're never going to stop falling"
"I don't believe in never" Milori said.
"I don't believe in always" She countered.
"Well, opposites attract"
"Never" she raised an eyebrow.
"Always" he finished, smirking.
"Are you two done?" Snowflake asked, her tone amused.
"Never" "Always"
There were various reactions to that, some groans, some giggles.
"You're cute" Milori said suddenly to Clarion.
"Well that was random" Clarion was holding back a laugh.
"Did you smile?" Milori asked.
"Yes"
"Then that was the point"
Tinkerbell and Lizzy burst into fits of giggles and laughter and started whispering about how cute the two were, until there was a loud rumble of thunder.
"Well, tinker bell, it seems that it is about to rain. We better get back" Clarion suggested.
"Yes Queen Clarion" Tinkerbell nodded.
"It was nice to meet you Lizzy" Milori said.
"You'll come back, won't you?" Lizzy asked, looking slightly crestfallen that their meeting was cut short.
"Yes, of course Lizzy" Clarion assured.
After another round of goodbyes, the fairies set off back to pixie hollow with Tinkerbell chattering excitedly about some invention or the other, Clarion and Milori gazing at each other, and the ministers bickering ("Hyacinth, would you please stop being such a control freak?!" "Well would it kill you take you job more seriously Snowflake?!"). All in all, it had been a good trip.
