The Bet

No one's pov:

After hyunjin left the rooftop, Heejin just stay at the rooftop, skipping her class like always, Hyunjin could've lecture her for not going to class just a moment ago but somehow today she just let it be.

Heejin then put out a cigarette and start smoking. "Wow look at you smoking" Yves shouted at Heejin as she enter the rooftop with their other friends. "It's not like you haven't seen me smoke before unnie" Heejin reply. "Well it's a little rare for you to be smoking you know " Yves say as she also take out a cigarette and smoke together with Heejin.

After a moment of silence Yves spoke up that perks Heejin's interest. "Hey wanna play bet?" Yves ask in a very suspicious tone. "how much are you paying?" Heejin snicker as she's sure the pay is not even going to be much. "How about 10 thousand won?" Yves say bluntly and with a serious face. Heejin is shock by how she's willing to give out that much money for a bet. "Bro I know you're rich but why are you betting on so much? What's the bet anyways?" Heejin ask getting more interested. "I want you to date hyunjin for 3 months and then broke up with her in the worst way possible." Yves laugh. "What?! Hyunjin?! No kidding bro, I don't have a chance with her" Heejin reply already giving up on that prize. "From the looks of it, Hyunjin doesn't seem like she hates you that much, plus you kind of did save her from that dude early so I think you'll be fine" Yves reply with a smile. "okay but why Hyunjin though " Heejin ask again. "I don't know, I just feel like messing with her" Yves laugh. Heejin thought about it for a while, she also have that urge to mess with Hyunjin and that large sum of money can help her with money issues at home. "Okay bet" Heejin reply. "Good, don't fall for Hyunjin or you can say bye to the money" Yves smirk . "I would never fall in love with Hyunjin " Heejin confidently reply.

After their conversation about the bet, both of them enter their class as if nothing happen.

Recess time:
No one's pov:

Heejin have thought of a lot of ways to try and win Hyunjin's stone cold heart but she can't think of anything. Right about time, Hyunjin enter the cafeteria with the other student body president. Heejin observe Hyunjin closely to see if there's any clue to help her win the bet. Just then, both of them make eye contact. Heejin remain her eye contact with Hyunjin and Hyunjin did too. It's as if they're battling in their minds. "Stop staring at unnie, Heejin unnie" Hyeju whisper beside Heejin. Heejin then break her eye contact with Hyunjin as Hyunjin did the same.

Hyunjin's Pov:

'That Jeon Heejin who does she think she is looking at me with those eyes' Hyunjin thought as she hides her blush. Hyunjin never really like Heejin infact she hates her but Hyunjin is always puzzle as to why she's always trying to find an excuse to fight with Heejin, maybe that's just one of the ways for Heejin to notice Hyunjin. Hyunjin doesn't understand her feelings for Heejin, it's between hatred and love, Hyunjin have never really show any interest in anyone but Heejin feels different. This feeling have been there ever since they were middle school, surprisingly they used to be best friend, but I guess the friendship have fallen since they're not even in the talking stage now in high school. "What are you thinking about sis?" Choerry ask as she look at Hyunjin worriedly. "Oh it's nothing yerimmie" Hyunjin giving Choerry a convincing smile as she glance at Heejin. 'What are you to me Heejin?' Hyunjin thought.

After class have finish, Hyunjin go straight to the student body office to complete some paperwork. A few minutes have pass since she's working, a knock is then heard. "Come in" Hyunjin shouted telling the unknown person to come in. Hyunjin then stood up when she look up who it is. "Heejin.." Hyunjin muttered between her breath. "What do you want?" Hyunjin ask with her stern face. "I just want to ask you if you would want to go out on a date with me?" Heejin smile proudly at Hyunjin as if she doesn't have any shame asking her. "date with you? Don't make me laugh Jeon"  Hyunjin snicker as she walk towards Heejin. "Go play with your other girls, I'm not going to be your plaything Jeon" Hyunjin spat those words in front of Heejin. "I'll just take that as a no, but I'll ask again until you accept my offer" Heejin smile as she walk out. "And by the way, I'll never let you be my plaything" Heejin say before she walk out.

Hyunjin then sigh as she plop back to her sit, blushing madly. 'what the hell Jeon Heejin, why are you asking me out!?!? That was just to random of you' Hyunjin thought as she cover her face with her long jet black hair. Hyunjin then just try to let it slide as she continue working on her paperwork.
