Filled with determination, I jog around the corner of my block 37A Will-smith Street. And yet again my phone buzzed. I stood in the middle of the lane wiping my sweat with bare hands and let out a deep sigh of frustration. It was a text from my boss !
Boss :
Meet me in my office in half an hour. Make sure to be on time this is urgent." Making it on time has always been a task for me. "
With that I closed my phone and chugged on my protein shake and hurried back home as fast as I could. It was already 7:59 and i had to reach there by 8:30. I let go of my workout attire and change into my formal clothes with a quick shower.I booked a cab to my office as i looked at the time. 8:19 it read. I asked the cab driver to get to the spot as soon as possible with that i reached my location. I rushed to my boss's office. Thankfully he had not arrived by then. Always a late comer I mumbled. Before i could finish my sentence he arrived. I bowed and entered his office.
Boss : Good Morning Adhira
Adhira : Good Morning SirMy boss continues
Boss :
