The four of them finished their breakfasts quickly before heading toward the main fireplace in the living room.

Lucius picked up the pot of floo powder before offering it to Narcissa. "After you my dear."

Narcissa blushed but covered it up by rolling her eyes. She took some floo powder and stepped into the fireplace. "Diagon Alley!" She disappeared in a quick burst of green flames.

"Me next!" Evy yelped. She stood on her tiptoes to reach into the pot of powder before skipping into the fireplace. "Diagon Alley!"

Draco calmly took a bit from the pot before striding into the fireplace and dropping the powder before shouting, "Diagon Alley!"

Lucius did the same and they all ended up walking out of the central hearth in Diagon Alley.

"So where to first?" Narcissa asked the important question.

"I think we should go to Flourish and Blotts first so we can get it out of the way," Draco responded.

Evy frowned, "But won't the books be heavy?"

"I'll cast a featherlight charm on them," Narcissa reassured her daughter.

The four of them headed in the direction of Flourish and Blotts.

On the way there Draco noticed that people parted around his father. He knew that his father was important but not that important. At Flourish and Blotts an old man wearing dirty torn robes walked up to him.

Draco watched his father's nose visibly wrinkle at the man's poor state.

He noticed Draco before saying, "The usual school package, ay?"

Narcissa nodded stiffly.

The man collected several books before handing them Lucius before muttering, "Four galleons."

Lucius paid him before walking outside as quickly as pureblood etiquette would allow.

"What's next?" Evy chirped, being the only one not disturbed by the bookshop.

"Looks like we need to get robes now," Draco answered his bouncing younger sister.

"I'll head to the apothecary to get the stuff you'll need for your potions set. Lucius why don't you go and get the cauldron, phials, scales and telescope while Draco gets fitted for his robes?"

"Alright," Lucius nodded before walking down the street.

"Draco I'm going to drop you off at Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions so you can get your robes. Do you mind if I leave Evy with you?"

"Of course not, mum," was his reply.

"Alright, there it is. I'll meet you back here once I'm done getting your stuff," Narcissa said.

Evy grabbed Draco's hand before skipping into the shop.

A squat, smiling witch dressed in mauve from head to toe asked him, "Hogwarts, dear?"

Draco nodded calmly.

"Well come to the back of the shop so we can get you fitted for your robes," Madam Malkin cheerfully said.

"And what about you dear?" she asked Evy.

"I'm waiting with my cousin," Evy lied, gesturing to Draco.

"Ah," was the witch's response.

She waved her wand and a tape measure floated up and started measuring Draco.

Scarce a minute had gone by before the bell on the front door rang, and the plump witch scurried towards the front of the shop.

A second later they heard a "Hogwarts, dear? Got the lot here – another young man being fitted up just now, in fact."

The next thing they knew a scrawny black-haired boy with green eyes and round wire rimmed circular glasses was standing by Draco.

"Hello. I would offer to shake your hand, but Madam Malkin here might kill me," Draco introduced himself.

"Hello. It's nice to meet you, er," The boy trailed off not knowing Draco's name.

"Draco Malfoy, heir to the Ancient and Noble House of Malfoy," he provided.

"Harry Potter," was the other boy's response.

Draco's eyebrows shot up towards his hairline. "Are you really Harry Potter?"

"Yes," Harry said reluctantly.

"So who raised you?" Evelyn piped up curiously.

Harry whipped around clearly not realising Evy was behind them. "My aunt and uncle."

"Who are they?" Draco asked.

"Vernon Dursley and Petunia Dursley nee Evans."

"Are they muggles?" Evy said distastefully.

"Non-magical people," Draco explained.

"Yes."

"That's outrageous!" Evy hissed.

"Ev is right, you're the saviour of the wizarding world," Draco grumbled.

"What?!" Harry almost screamed.

"Did you really not know?" Draco looked concerned.

"Did your family not tell you?" Evy questioned, worried.

"They told me my dad was a drunk bum and my mum was a fool for marrying him."

"What!?" It was Draco and Evy's turn to shriek.

"They said that they died in a car crash and that's how I got this scar."

"Bullshi-"

"DRACO LUCIUS MALFOY NO SWEARING!" his mother screamed.

Evy snickered. "You're screwed."

"Wow thanks for the support Evy," he mumbled.

"Sorry mum. Harry just said something that really bothered me," Draco mumbled.

"Draco you know I detest mumbling," Narcissa scowled.

"Sorry mum, I said that Harry told me his aunt and uncle lied to him his whole life."

Narcissa noticed Harry standing by Draco. "Oh hello."

"Hello Mrs. Malfoy," Harry said nervously

Narcissa gave him a polite smile before turning to Madam Malkin. "Have you finished the robes?" she questioned.

"Yes I have," Madam Malkin replied handing them to her.

"Bye Harry," Draco told the other boy.

"Bye Draco," Harry answered.

"Draco, Evelyn it's time for us to head home," Narcissa said, leading the two outside. Lucius was carrying a large pile of things.

Evy and Draco each took one of their mum's arms as she apparated them back to Malfoy Manor.
