"I swear it was nothing." I say holding my hand together in front of me, Harry paces back and fourth. "It was a kiss, I was intoxicated by the influence of alcohol. And don't blame Liam, it was my fault."

"Really, Alison? Really? How stupid do you think I am?" Harry stops in front of me. He tries to make eye contact with me but I look down at my hands. "You won't sleep with me but you'll sleep with him!"

"Listen," My tone rises and I look up as Harry starts pacing again. "We were both drunk! It was my first time taking shots, I had never really drunken alcohol before, my family couldn't afford it. We were going for a walk by the beach and it was late, I suggested to go swimming with him and then we made out. That's all I remember."

"Alison, I understand that you were drunk but that isn't acceptable." Harry stops and crosses his arms across his muscular, tattooed chest. "All actions have consequences."

"I know, I know." My bottom lip starts to shake. "Please don't hurt me." I don't know what he's going to do with me or about the accident but I have a feeling I won't be able to do anything about it.

"Tell Liam that I'm so sick I need you." Harry points towards the door. I walk out. My hair blows in my eyes so I take the elastic band from my wrist and tie it up into a ponytail.

"Hey, Liam." Liam opens the door and offers for me to come in. "I can't Harry's really sick and miserable so maybe tomorrow?"

"Uh, yeah..." Liam leans against the door frame as I walk away. "Hey Ali?" He asks, I turn around. "This isn't about last night right?"

"No." I lie and cover it with a laugh. I'd much rather be at the beach with Liam than taking care of the sick, bipolar Harry. I have no idea how he is going to hurt me for making out with Liam but I'd rather it be physical long than short and emotional. I've never been able to tolerate emotional pain, whenever my mom would say something rude or she got too drunk I'd hold in tears, go to my room then silently cry.

I insert the room key into the door lock and turn the handle. I walk in to see Harry laying on his back on the bed watching football. I go into the bathroom and close the door. I kneel down in front of the body-sized mirror and cry. After holding in a few sobs I look up at my reflection in the mirror.

I've always thought that crying was a sign of weakness but sometimes it means you've been strong for too long. My eyes are starting to turn pink. My face is already red and tear streaked. I stood up and turn on the tap splashing my face with cold water. After I turn off the tap I just stand there looking in the mirror for a while. The life I've lived gone, the life I'm living now... Ruined.

"Alison." Harry says looking at the television still. "What'd you say?" I say there not speaking, he looks over at me. I look down for a couple second closing my eyes then I look up at Harry who is looking at me.

"I'm gonna go for a walk." I grab a pair of shorts from the suitcase along with a hair brush, T-shirt with the words 'Stronger Than You Think' on it and a pair of black flip flops. After I'm changed out of my bikini and into the decently comfortable clothes I leave. The sky is a bright blue, the sun is so bright it looks white. Not many people are out so I decide to walk to the beach.

I'm not sure exactly where the beach is because last night was really the only time I had been, then I was intoxicated so I can't remember. I can hear the waves from where I am so I know I'm getting closer.

The sand is a beautiful white and the waves turquoise. I take off my flip flops and hold them in my right hand walking in the warm sand. I grab one of the fold-up chairs and sit by the ocean. My feet go into the damp darkened sand. At the BBQ grill some festive Spanish music plays. It must be mid to late noon by now, a lot of people are getting food.

"Hey." Someone taps my shoulder. Niall.

"Shit!" I shout jumping up a little. "You scared me."

"I missed you too." Niall grabs a chair and sits beside me too. "Liam said you had to take care of 'Harry'." I close my eyes, rolling them behind my eyelids.

"I needed some time alone." I look at the waves crashing onto shore hitting my ankles with the wet salty water. "I got us an extended stay by the way, took me and a bitchy receptionist about twenty minutes but I got it." Niall laughs.

"Here." He hands me a pair of sunglasses, I put the on. I nod as a thank you. "How was last night with you and Liam?"

"Well I learned how to dance." I close my eyes behind the sunglasses and hold my hands together leaning back in my chair. Niall gives me a cooler from the beach bar, I sip it slowly. The cooler is way better than Vodka or Whiskey, it's sweeter than the others.

"I can also see you learned how to drink." Niall laughs and points to the empty bottle.

After a long afternoon of just sitting with Niall on the beach I go back to the room. I think I got a bit of a tan. Reminding you it's only the first full day of vacation I've spent most of the time inside.

"There you are!" Harry shouts when I get inside the room.

"Uh, yeah I went for a walk like I said..." I trail off then take off my sunglasses. "You're feeling better." He nods. We both sit on the bed after I take a shower.

"Ready for your punishment?" He asks smirking at me. My whole face turns red and hot. It feels like the tears are about to come back.
