Chapter 5

Athena's POV
I woke up the next morning to my mom shaking me telling me that my dad was locked up because he had got into a fight and that she had to go bail him out, and let me tell you that was a way to start the morning.

After she left to go get him I got ready for school and started walking.

I was walking down the street when all of a sudden I was hit by a wall.

Wait walls can't move I thought, but when I looked up I saw the one and only Nick Mendez.

"Good Morning hermosa," He says while smiling

"Good Morning Nick," I say while blushing, "What are you doing here"

"Oh well I haven't been enrolled into a school yet so l decided to have an early training session" he replies "What about you?"

"Well since it's 7:15 in the morning on a school day I am going to well school" I reply "Well since I don't have school how about I walk you the rest of the way"

Oooh this boy knows what he's doing, but I am not going to be giving him the satisfaction

"Sure, that would be good"
