Cursed World!

Episode 7: Near Death!

Ash jumped forward and threw a kick at the curse, who just blocked with it's arm. It grabbed Ash's leg and slammed him into the ground. Ash groaned in pain. Payton rushed forward and stabbed the curse in the chest. He pushed the curse, causing it to fall onto it's back. "Ash! You need to go find Kingston! I'll deal with this curse!" Payton said. The curse pushed itself up, making Payton jumped backwards.

"No way! I'm fighting this thing! You go look for your brother!" Ash said as he rushed forward and threw a punch. The curse tried to block with it's left arm, but Ashton did a fake out and punched with his other fist, landing a punch on the curse's face. It slide back and glared at Ash. "Why are you so stubborn?!" Payton shouted. "Because I believe i can beat this thing! Now go save Kingston!" Ash shouted as he did a sweep kick, knocking the curse onto it's back.

Payton growled and clenched his fist. "Fine! But if you die, i'll come up there and kill you again!" Payton said before running off. Ash laughed and faced the curse. "I guess it's just me and you now!" Ash said as he cracked his knuckles. The curse growled and rushed at Ash. Ash managed to dodge and throw a punch at the curse's face, stunning it for a second. Ash quickly threw a kick at its face and winded his fist back.

"Take this!" Ash yelled as he threw a powerful punch, which shook the whole room. The curse grabbed Ash's arm and punched him in the face, causing his nose to start bleeding. It kicked him in the stomach and then grabbed him by the throat. "L-let me go!" Ash yelled. He kicked the curse in the face, making it let go of him. Ash jumped backwards and grabbed a rock. He threw it as hard as he could at the curse. The curse punched the rock, instantly shattering it. When the dust cleared, Ash was no where in sight.

"You dropped your guard!" Ashton yelled from behind the curse. He winded his fist back and punched the curse in the back of the head, making it slide backwards. "Looks like i can keep up with you," Ash said as he got into a fighting stance.

Payton ran down the hall, frantically looking for Kingston. "(Damn it! They said that it was a most like a semi grade 2 curse, but that's way too strong to be one! That's probably a grade 1 curse or maybe even a special grade!)" Payton thought. He heard the sound of something breaking behind the wall next to him and kicked a huge hole in the wall. Kingston was in the room, swinging his sword at a curse. "Kingston! There you are!" Payton said as he ran forward and pulled out his sword.

"Payton! I'm gonna need some help with these curses! Where's Ash?" Kingston asked as he decapitated a curse. "He stayed behind. He's fighting that curse!" Payton said as he started swinging his sword extremely fast at a curse. "You left him with that thing?! It could kill him!" Kingston said. "I know! I would've stayed behind and fought the curse, but he's so stubborn! He told me to come save you! Damn it! He's an idiot if he thinks he can beat it on his own!" Payton said as he decapitated a curse with his sword. "If he's confident, i'm sure he can beat it!" Kingston said.

Ashton rushed at the curse and started throwing extremely quickly punches, but the curse dodged all of them and did a sweep kick, knocking Ash onto his back. The curse lifted his leg and tried to stomp on Ash, but Ash caught its leg and slowly started pushing upwards. "I won't die here!" Ash yelled as he pushed the curse off of him. He jumped up and threw a punch, but the curse caught his arm and squeezed it really hard, causing it to break.

Ash froze for a second before screaming in pain. The curse did a roundhouse kick and kicked Ash in the stomach, sending him flying into a wall. Ash hit the wall and fell to the ground, his vision getting blurry. "No... please... stop," Ash said as he slowly got up and tried to walk away. The curse grabbed him by the back of the neck and threw him to the ground, Cracking one of his ribs. Ash winced in pain. "Stop! Please! I... i don't want to die! Just leave me alone!" Ash screamed.

"(Why am i crying? This isn't like me? Is it because i'm about to die? Death never scared me before. Is it because i'm about to die an unnatural death?)" Ash thought. The curse grinned and rushed at Ash, preparing a punch to his face. Before the punch could land, Ash remembered what Kazuto had told him when he joined.

"Jujutsu Sorcerers risk their lives all the time. Can you do the same?"

At the last second, Ash dodged the punch and did a roundhouse kick, causing the curse to stumble backwards. "What the hell am i doing, crying like this? What kind of Jujutsu Sorcerer would i be if i died without protecting anyone!" Ash yelled as he clenched his fist. A red aura slowly poured from his hand. He ran towards the curse and roared loudly. He threw an extremely fast punch at the curse's face. "Die!" Ash screamed as he sent the curse flying into a wall in the back of the room.
