As Charlie stepped out he immediately shivered from the coldness of fall, he had forgotten his shirt inside, he hadn't noticed because the bandages felt like a shirt since it covered most of his chest and stomach, even so it was covered in blood, it would just make him more cold and dirty. It was still cold and close to winter, he wanted to say something but was too scared to. Mariana noticed the shorter and wanted to ignore him but felt a bit bad, he reluctantly sighed, took off his hoodie, turned to Charlie and put it on him. Mariana then went back to walking, Charlie zipped up the hoodie, he smiled at the how warm it was because of Mariana. After a bit Mariana walked up to a door and opened it, a little girl with tears running down her face ran out and hugged him, he picked her and spoke, a lot softer than he did with Jaiden.
"¿Qué pasa, cariño? ¿Tuviste otra pesadilla?" Mariana asked, wiping away the child's tears, everyone now and again the little one would hiccup as she stopped crying. She nodded quickly and clung to him, Jaiden was right when she said they looked alike, they both had the similar skin tones, same hair and eye color, even the same squeaky hiccups. Mariana was sitting on the couch, putting her to sleep, Charlie quietly closed the door and stood to the side, once she was asleep Mariana left to put her in her bed, coming back quickly.
"¿Qué?" Mariana asked sharply, Charlie just stood there even more confused, Mariana whispered something under in spanish under his breath then went back to talking to Charlie.
"What?" Mariana asked again, this time in english
"Your so rude and mad with everyone else and yet your so soft and kind with your daughter?" Charlie said, a bit confused
"Yeah? So? You think im gonna be nice to some rando?"
"Not like that, i mean with Jaiden, and why doesn't your daughter look like you?"
"Its Juanaflippa and because were not biologically related"
"Oh" Charlie muttered
"Dont you need umm.. Clothes?" He said, forgetting the word for ropa in english for a moment.
"Yeah, sorry" He said quietly, Mariana walked away, coming back with some unused clothes, a plain white T-shirt and basketball shorts, both looked a little big but Charlie didn't mind.
"The bathroom is next to my daughters room, shes sick and is having problems with nightmares so if she comes out get me" Mariana said walking into a room and shuting it, Charlie changed and sat down on the couch bored. As he was half falling asleep cause there was nothing to do a little coughing girl came out a bit weary and with tears in her eyes. She ran over to Charlie and grabbed his arm, saying something in Spanish, Charlie looked confused but she pointed at a stuffy that was on the shelf, he got it and gave it to her. Flippa clung to the plushy, she then put it on the couch and did graby hands at Charlie, Charlie picked her up, gave her the stuffy, and tried to make her fall asleep. Charlie slowly rocked back and forth, humming a little lullaby, the little girl fell asleep but he was to tired to stand, he quickly fell asleep after. Mariana came out of his office 30 minutes after to see the two on the couch, he smiled seeing them so happy with eachother and she seemed content with the plushy. Mariana decided to separate the two so Charlie didn't get sick, he picked up Flippa and tucked her in with the plushy, then he went back to the living room. Mariana saw Charlie asleep of the couch and decided he would go on the couch so Charlie could get the bed. Mariana picked up Charlie and walked to his room, putting the shorter down and putting a blanket over him, Mariana looked at him for a second before turning away. Mariana found an extra blanket and pillow, he laid down on the couch, falling asleep quickly.

[Time skip to the morning]
Charlie opened his eyes to the shine of sunlight on his face, he was confused when he realized he was in a bed with blankets on himself.
"What the?" Charlie said sitting up, right as he did the door opened and Mariana was in the door way, he looked like he was trying to keep a blank face, which probably ment he was mad.
"I told you to get me for Juana, pendejo" Mariana said
"Im sorry, she was just comfortable and I didn't want to move her" Charlie muttered, looking away, Mariana sighed and smiled a bit.
"But thank you as well, she hasn't been able to sleep that long since she was sick" Charlie looked back up at Mariana when he said that.
"Y-your welcome" Charlie stuttered, after he said that it got uncomfortably silent.
"Didn't i fall asleep on the couch with Flippa?" Charlie said, trying to break the silence
"Oh yeah, i um picked you up and let you sleep" Mariana replied
"Wow you let a rando sleep in your bed"
"Im about to kick a rando out of my house" Mariana threatened, Charlie shut his mouth. "That's what I thought"
"I'm gonna go take a shower." Charlie said, while he was walking past Mariana, the taller grabbed his arm.
"Don't you need more clothes, bandages, and a towel?" Mariana asked, Charlie nodded then pulled his hand away.
"Yeah I do" He said softly, Mariana rolled his eyes, went to a closet, pulled out a towel, and gave it to Charlie.
"Go get the shower to a good temperature while I get you clothes and bandages" Mariana said while walking away, Charlie started to mess around with it, while doing so Mariana placed a neat stack of clothes and bandages, locked the door, then walked out.

[After the shower]
Charlie had boxers and pajama pants on, he didn't have his shirt on so he could put on his bandages but he couldn't do it.
"Mari! Can you help me really quick" He heard footsteps come up to the door and Mariana opened it.
"What's with the nick-name and what do you-" Mariana cut himself off, looking Charlie up and down, he felt his face get red but he ignored it.
"Can you help me please?" Charlie asked, Mariana nodded and picked up the bandages, wrapping the bandages around Charlie, making sure he wasn't to rough and the bandages weren't to tight, once he was done he cut the rest off.
"Alright is that good?" Mariana asked
"Mhm, thank you" Charlie replied, it fell to an awkward silence after, Charlie put on his shirt and then turned around so he could see Mariana.
"Shouldn't Flippa be awake by now?" Charlie asked, leaning on the counter of the sink. Mariana looked Charlie up and down again, his face still a light shade of pink.
"Yeah, she's in the living room watching My Little Pony, I'm gonna check on her" Mariana said, trying to leave before Charlie noticed he was blushing. Mariana walked out to see Flippa on the couch watching MLP in Spanish.
"¿Te gusta Mi Pequeño Pony?" (Do you like My Little Pony?) Mariana asked to Flippa, sitting down next to her.
"¡Sí! ¡Mira, hasta tengo Pinky Pie!" (Yeah! Look, I even have Pinky Pie!) She said, holding up her plushy, Mariana smiled and she went back to MLP, Charlie walked out and sat down next to Mariana. Right as Charlie sat down someone knocked at the door, Charlie flinched and Mariana went to see who it was. Quackity was behind it with Tilin asking for a playdate, before Mariana could call for Flippa she was there with her shoes on running outside with Tilin. When Mariana turned to go back to Charlie he saw the shorter right in front of him, as Mariana stepped back from a bit of shock he hit the door, his face flushed quickly.
"Why do you always turn red around me?" Charlie said randomly, Mariana tried to think of an excuse but couldn't think because of Charlie who was right in front of him.
"Nothing" Mariana said, pushing past Charlie but Charlie grabbed his arm.
"I know there's one, tell me"
"Why should I?"
"Because I'm curious"
"Porque tienes calor, por eso" (because you are hot, that's why) Mariana said smirking, knowing Charlie wouldn't understand.
"What does that mean?!" Charlie yelled.
"Hmm I don't know!" Mariana smiled.
"Tell me or else I'll find someone else to stay with"
"You don't know the people here"
"And? I can stay with the nice lady Jaiden or that guy dressed in green and white or the guy with a white streak in his hair and goggles" Charlie threatened, walking to the door, about to open it. Mariana grabbed his arm and pulled him away from the door.
"Alright alright I'll tell you" Mariana sighed, Charlie stood there expectingly. "I said you're hot."
