Fearless' POV:
So, I don't remember anything that just happened. Except the fact that I just let my intrusive thoughts win, and I kissed Debut. I look over to see Red filling the shot glasses up. Debut's holding onto my arm super tight.
"Debs? You alright?" I ask. She nods. "Okay, if you say so."
"Glasses are full who's going first?" Red exclaims and asks.
"Umm I'll go first!" Speak Now exclaims.
"Okay ask anyone!" Red exclaims.
"Red, who do you like?" Speak Now asks. Red hesitates, takes a shot, and fills the glass back up. "Mm I see how it is, y'know if it was someone out of the group we would've kept the secret!" Red nods still making a face from the shot. "You ask now Red!"
"Mm okay, Debut do you like Fearless?" Red asks. PLEASE SAY YES DEBS!
"Yes of course! Can I still take a shot though?" Debut asks. Everyone starts laughing.
"Go for it Debs!" Red answers. So she does. "Okay now you ask!"
"Uhh Spea!! Um do you like Red?" Debut asks. Speak Now nods slightly, she's that one friend who doesn't really drink. "Words please!"
"Umm yes, yes I do!" Speak Now basically whisper-mumbles.
"Audible words!" Debut teases so Speak Now takes a shot. "Finally!"
"Do you Speakieeeeeee?" Red asks teasingly.
"Mm R gimme a sec!" Speak Now says and sips a drink of her bottle of Diet Coke, "Okay, yes! Yes I do!" She mumbles again.
"Little louder darling," Red says and lifts Spea's chin. Speak Now has a loss for words and just stutters. "Speakieeeeeeeeeee!!! Answerrrrr pleaseeeeeee!"
Speak Now giggles, "Mhm!"
"Cutieeeee! Want a piece of chocolate?" Red asks.
"No thank you!" Speak Now giggles again. Red opens Spea's mouth and puts a piece of chocolate in there.
"There you go!"
"R!" Speak Now continues giggling, "I said I didn't want any!"
"Too bad! Your turn to ask!"
"Hmmm? Fearlessssssssssss! Uhhh body count?" Speak Now asks.
"Like murder?" I ask confused.
Red looks at me concerned, "WHY WOULD WE BE TALKING ABOUT MURDER?! SHE MEANS HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE YOU HAD SEX WITH DUMBASS!" I start giggling. "Sorry but goddamn why would you think she was asking about murder?"
"There's no telling but 0!" I respond.
"Wanna make it 1 tonight?" Debut mumbles holding my arm still.
"Hmm?"
"Nothing!"
"Mkay Fearful your turn!" Red giggles.
I think for a second, "Red, do you like Spea?"
"Yes I do!" Red blurts then covers her mouth. She then takes a shot and doesn't wash it down. "That was not meant to be said out loud!" Speak Now giggles and hands her, her (Red's) water bottle. "Thanks Spea."
"No problem R! Your turn to ask by the way!" Speak Now exclaims.
"Speak Now... will you be my girlfriend?" Red asks.
Speak Now gets so exited, "Yes!!" She kisses Red.
"Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!" I exclaim.
"I'll be back I'm gonna go fill my water bottle up!" Debut exclaims.
"Fearful shut up! You don't even have the nerve to ask Debut out!" Red scoffs and Debut walks back in.
"Debyyyy!! Question! Will you be my girlfriend? Pleaseeeee!" I ask, kinda begging actually. Debut giggles and twirls one of the curls right in front of my face.
"Of course I will Fearly!! I kinda suspected that from Waffle House!! The truth is I've loved you since I was 6 years old, I've always thought you're the cutest girl ever and I really couldn't tell you because if I did there was a chance you wouldn't want to be my friend. And the truth is that would've broken me!" Debut rants, "Just thinking about us not being friends had me crying myself to sleep at night. I need you, you were my best friend in the whole world. Wouldn't change a thing about you! Now I'm glad you can be my girlfriend so I don't have to lose you!" I hug Debut super tight.
"I love you Debs, really love you!" I whisper in her ear. Red's eyes widen and she almost says something but decides against it.
