Katie's POV
I had just moved schools, so like most people, I didn't quite fit in. I'm used to it by now, though. I'm just a wallflower, but I don't mind. I can say I've been pretty strong throughout my years. I walk into the double doors of the school and I see so many people. It's almost overwhelming. I go to the front office and receive class information. I get a slip of paper that has my locker combination and locker number. I got to my locker and I notice a group of boys that looked older than me. I was a sophomore and they looked like juvenile delinquents... or seniors.
"Hey baby" the middle one said with a smirk. I just look at him blankly but he puts his hand out, signaling me to shake it.
"It's okay babe, I don't bite... My name is Christofer, Christofer Drew." He greeted me trying to sound posh.
"And who might you be, madam?'' He asks bowing. This kid is mental.
"I-I'm Katie.'' I say cowardly, yet proudly.
"Nice to meet you, Katie." he emphasizes my name then takes my hand and kisses it.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" I ask quickly.
"Oh, just being friendly, that's all." He said with a grin, and his two friends chuckled.
"Now, if you will, let me get to my locker...?" He asked.
"Oh, ugh, um, yeah. S-sorry." I stutter.
I sidestep and put my stuff in my locker. I get to my class and I notice that Christofer is there. Oh, joy. Ms. Silver, the teacher told me to sit where there was an empty seat, and the only seat that was empty was one right next to Christofer, at the VERY back of the classroom.
"Fancy meeting you here" he says not taking his eyes off the paper he was working on.
I just sigh and put my stuff on the floor.
He was doodling a little guy with a hat on, and flowers in his hand. it was very messy art-work, though. it looked a little familiar, but I just couldn't put my finger on it...
