POV OF ALFRED
"Al, can you hear me?"
"You think he made it?"
"Of coarse he did, look at his skin."
I open my eyes slowly, feeling the air on my skin. The pain in my head diminishes completely as soon as I take in the view of the trees above me.
I see everything.
I feel everything.
I smell everything.
I hear everything.Confusion touches my mind and a strong feeling of presence appear to be coming closer to me, and I look on my right and see three shadows near the trees.
I try to move but I'm tied on the ground."Don't even dare to scream for help," a female voice says as she walks towards me. "You'll get killed."
And that stops me from screaming.
She gets on her knees, and looks down at me, and realize it's the girl who always let me copy her homework in class. Jesse. Only she looked, different."You don't remember anything, do you?" She asks as she unties me. My other classmate, Daren, appears on my left, and smiles at me, raising his eyebrows at me.
"Look at you," he smirks, and bends down a bit, I frown a little. His irises are bigger than normal. I can see the difference in his skin tone even though there's no daylight. "Feel any different?" He tries to whisper.
I didn't want to speak, I honestly felt afraid. A boy with a scarf next to Daren, began to help Jesse untie me.
"Who's going to explain it to him?" Jesse asks and my wrists are free, I sit up. There are colorful stones surrounding us, along with the candles that were probably lit a few minutes ago.
I feel my heart sink. They do exist. I look at my hands, and see it's lighter than my normal, original, skin tone.
Human skin tone.
It happened.
