"𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐢 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐢 𝐧𝐢 𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐰𝐨?𝐊𝐨𝐤𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐰𝐨 𝐝𝐚 𝐲𝐨〜"
Fidgeting
with their jersey, [Name] stared blankly at the floor. They spaced out while the rest of the team was freaking out. Without any of a coach's regular motivational talking, many of the blue lockers were left anxious or scared, minus Rin of course. They glanced back at the white board left in the locker room for anyone who forgot their positions. [Name]'s focus narrowed on their name, they were put as center midfielder. Although they were use to midfielder position, it frustrated them how lowly Ego thought of them.
"Now the opposing team going against U-20... PROJECT PLUE LOCK!" Screams and cheers were hears as the gate opened. [Name] was quick to run after his teammates in case they left him behind. Everyone stood to the side, everyone glanced at rin. Blue lock's eleven stared at Rin, waiting for his motivational speech. The blue lock eleven was made up of gagamaru, Aryu, Niko, chigiri, yukimiya, Karasu, nagi, bachira, otoya, and [Name] themself. The Rin had just deadpanned and sighed before speaking up.
"Just don't get in my way, lukewarms." It was the team's turn to deadpan at their selfish (egotistical) captain.
As the team took the field, the atmosphere was tense. The other team was larger and more experienced, and the Blue Lock members were starting to doubt their abilities. Rin, on the other hand, seemed unfazed by the situation. He stood tall and proud, looking down at the opposing team with a mixture of arrogance and confidence.
The whistle blew, and the game began. Rin was quick and agile, weaving in and out of defenders with ease. The other players looked to him for guidance, but he seemed to be on a different wavelength entirely. He ignored their pleas for help, choosing instead to take on the entire opposing team by himself.
[Name], who was playing center midfielder, felt helpless as they watched Rin's solo performance. They struggled to find motivation to continue the game, and their teammates were getting frustrated at the lack of passes. The opposition was pushing harder and harder, and it looked like Blue Lock was on the verge of collapse.
Suddenly, Rin let out a grunt and charged straight at the opposing goalie. He struck the ball with all his might, sending it flying into the net. The crowd erupted in cheers as Blue Lock scored their first goal of the game.
Rin's behavior had come as a surprise to everyone, but it had clearly paid off. The team rallied behind him, and they all felt a renewed sense of determination. They pushed forward, determined to score more goals and secure their place in the next round of the tournament. With Rin leading the way, [Name] felt a little more at ease than ever before. They focused all their energy on playing their position to the best of their ability, and the rest of the team did the same.
On the other end, U-20 stared in shock. It was clear they were underestimating everyone on the opposing side. A certain burgundy haired itoshi was one of them, not only staring at his little brother, but a familiar friend. It was clear what the older itoshi was thinking, now that the opposing team proved themselves, he can play more seriously.
As the game continued, the Blue Lock members' confidence grew with each successful pass and shot on goal. They realized that, despite Rin's ego, they could rely on his raw talent to help them win. This newfound trust and cohesion led to them playing their best game yet, with Rin dominating on offense and the rest of the team holding their own on defense.
On the other side of the field, the U-20 players were starting to feel the pressure. They had assumed Blue Lock would be an easy win, but now they were giving them a run for their money. But they had a plan, and they were ready to execute it. It was then, at the start of the second half, that the U-20's ace striker would switch out with the blue locker, Shidou Ryusei.
Shidou was a force to be feared on the pitch. He was quick, agile, and had a powerful shot that could easily penetrate any defense. He was known for his unpredictable movements and his reckless decision within blue lock (as well as his hatred for rin).
As soon as Shidou entered the game, the Blue Lock players knew that they were in for a tough match. They would need to play their hearts out if they wanted to win.
The second half of the game was a fierce battle, with Shidou leading the charge for the U-20 team. He used his speed and agility to elude the Blue Lock defenders, and his shot power to break through their goalkeepers. The Blue Lock players were doing their best to counter him, but they were starting to feel the pressure.
That's when everything changed, [Name] and chigiri were switched out. The latter more disappointed then the former.
"I can still go! Please" chigiri begged.
"No hyo, Ego is right." [Name] caresses his previously injured knee, "you're going to re-tare your ACL at this rate, you need to take a break" their heart broke as they see the pink haired male start tearing up. They then glance at their replacements, Reo and isagi.
"They'll take care of the game hun. You did all you needed to do." [Name] wrapped an arm around him and brought chigiri close. Although they weren't use to comforting, they tried their best. Chigiri buried his face into their shoulder as he let his tears fall. They just hoped this game will proceed if they don't.
