"I was hoping you would do your job right.."
"I did do it right! I don't know how she's alive-"
"Save it. You like Michael don't you?"
"Y-yes"
"Than get her out of his life."

An hour passed by and I was walking towards the east side of the lake. I walked down the small hill off the trail towards the lake to get a better view of where Michael could be. Before coming here I did in fact changed into something comfortable like how he said. When I had let Charlie know I was going on a date with him today she instantly took me back to the cabin to get me ready.
Normally i'm not the type of person to bring makeup especially here at a robotics summer camp since I knew it would be all sweaty and dirty but now that I would be going on dates it seems that I might need it..
There's a lot of things that happened this past month that I never knew would have happened. One of them being dating Michael. I mean it still feels so surreal to me.
I soon spotted him a couple of feet away. I smiled and walked towards him. From a distance I could see that he was setting up a nice picnic. I never knew he was the type to do that.
"Aww Michael.." I looked at him in complete awe. "Oh hey, I just thought this would be a nice first date." Michael smiled and awkwardly scratched the back of his neck. "This is really nice, thank you"
I sat down next to him on the gingham printed blanket. "Where did you find all of the stuff?" I asked. "Oh just knew where they kept all of the picnic stuff you know?"
"Oh right your dad owns this place haha" I awkwardly laughed. "Uh yeah"
"I made sandwiches and got fruit? I hope you still have room for more" he dug through the picnic basket handing me a sandwich and grabbing a fruit platter. "Thanks" I smiled and we both ate while watching students either on boats fishing or trying out the jet ski's.
It was a beautiful day. The warm sun hitting on our skin and a cold breeze flowing through our hair making it a perfect summer day.
"You're really pretty..." Michael mumbled "Hm?" I hummed and turned to look at him, pretending I didn't hear what he just said. Truly inside I was freaking out. He just called me pretty. What do I even respond to that?
"You're.. um really pretty" Michael said a bit louder. "Oh you're really pretty too.." I mumbled under my breath. I felt my face turn warm from the compliment. I've been called pretty before but from him it feels different.
He chucked "Yeah I know" he ran his hand through his hair. I rolled my eyes. "Come on let's get in the water" he said getting up and taking off his shirt which revealed his defined muscles.
I turned away feeling embarrassed. "What? We just ate you know we have to wait 30 min-"
I felt a pair of hands grab me from my waist and under my legs. Michael pulled me up (bridal style) "That's just a myth!" Michael chuckled "Shit! Michael put me down!" I tried wiggling out of his grip.
Michael laughed and he ran towards the lake, jumping in the cold refreshed water. I swam up to the surface wiping my face and moving my hair away from my face "You're such a-"
"Good boyfriend? Yeah I know I am!" Michael teased. "God mike I did my makeup today!" I replied back wiping the mascara from my eyes "You did your makeup for me?" Michael smiled
"Oh don't feel so honored now.. you just noticed?" I giggled "No.. I noticed how beautiful you looked every day" He smiled pulling me into his strong arms. I couldn't help but smile with his compliments.
"Here let me help.." Michael used his thumb to wipe off the mascara and smudged lip gloss on my face. Thankfully it was nothing too dramatic. I had told Charlie to make sure it was light. No eyeshadow or a strong colored lipstick.
3rd Person POV | 11:15 AM
"We'll at least Mike-" Henry stated "Don't remind me" William interrupted Henry before finishing his sentence. Henry was happy to see Mike with you. Just from his smiling expression on his face when you both had came back from the lake soaking wet he knew you were good for him.
"Never mind that. What will we do about the missing children?" Henry asked "I don't know. Right now my mind is focusing on making new restaurants. We need more profit, Fred Bear needs a bloody makeover" William said plopping on his office chair, while rubbing the temples of his head.
"I know it's a lot William but this just means we are becoming more successful in life. There will be more blessings for us." Henry smiled placing his hand on top of Williams. "Let's just take care of this missing kid problems and then we can focus on the diner."
And so that is exactly what the two owners had done. They've done a search party with the police searching for the 2 missing students. It was definitely a miracle that Michael had found you. If he hadn't, you knew you would have been eaten by a bear or worse.
Two days passed and the search party decided that it was pointless to continue searching. There was no missing bodies. Just track shoes and clothes left behind. They were considered to be dead after many days had passed by.
Parents were furious. Others were worried that their child would get lost in the woods, so going into the forest was officially restricted to students.
But each and every day, Michael would give you a hand picked flower at the cafeteria. And everyone would stare in Aw at the romantic gesture Mike would do for you. It was Michael's way of showing that you were always on his mind.
Of course that wasn't the only romantic gesture he would do for you. He always made sure to walk you to your cabin, bring you your favorite snacks and drinks, and take you on dates.
But not everyone believed that you both were meant to be together. Others had worse intentions...
Jennifer had been acting weird for the past few days and it was hard to figure out why. You know you've never done anything to her to make her feel such annoyance towards you.
But It didn't take long to notice that she would often talk to Amanda. And you knew where this hatred was coming from. She had became acquainted with her.
