A.N. MAJOR CHANGES PEOPLE!!!! REREAD PLEASE!!!!!
The hall was filled with laughter and happiness. I hated it. Every year this happened. What is wrong with happiness? I don't know. I just sometimes despise it. It is like a virus. It floats through the air and-
"We are starting off the sorting today, with an exchange student. Anderson, Blakenda," A girl of about fifteen walked up to the sorting hat, her eyes blotchy and red. She had been crying. I looked around. It didn't seem like anyone else noticed. The sorting has begun.
"Ravenclaw!"
Great. Just what we needed. Another god-forsaken Ravenclaw. Mental sigh..... Maybe she will be your friend....
Not likely.
You never know.
Haha. Who would want to be friends with you?
Trick question... EVERYONE!
I don't think anyone wants to be friends with a girl who has mental arguments.
Shut up and leave me alone.
You shut up. This is the only way you get inteligent conversations.
If I befriend her, I will get extremely inteligent conversations.
I already told you... She wouldn't want to be your friend.
SHUT UP! THIS IS WHY PEOPLE CALL ME CRAZY! They were already at the Ts by the time I came back to the real world.
"Ava! Are you all right?" It was Remus. At least I know someone likes me.
"Tinly, Amber!"
"Yeah. I just dozed a second. I'm fine," I replied with a small smile.
"Hufflepuff!"
"As long as you're not injured. Sirius would have somebodys head if something happened to you. He's almost like James over Lily." I didn't justify that with and answer. I just rolled my eyes and watched the rest of the sorting.
"Vertrude, Gomber!" Geez people. Name your kids something less creepy. I bet he's in-
"Slytherin!" I smart.
"Hey Evans!" Shouted James. And the count begins.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a black-haired boy perk up as James asked Lily out for the millionth time.
"Hey Sum-" And my count begins as well.
"No, Black. I will not go out with you," I said, not even looking up. A moment later, I hear him turn a sixth year and start chatting her up. The same as always. I say no, he turns to someone else. He dumps her a week later, and comes back to me. Every year, the same thing. One would think it gets annoying, but Lily and I have a contest to see which of us turn them down more. Lily has won every year so far because James has eyes for only Lily. Black had eyes for the whole female population. I am just his side project. His goal. He wants to break me. To get me to say yes. I won't. No. No, Black. You can't break me. I will not say yes. I never knew how wrong I was.

"AV!!!!!" I hear someone scream, before I was tackled by an energized Lily. Take that conscience! I do have friends! Once again, this is why people call me crazy.
"You just saw me a couple of minutes ago Lils," I said to a racing Lily.
"I know! That was minutes ago. Like, forever!" M'kay. Lily is much more calm than this. So she is either on drugs, or.....
"Hey, Lilliana, do you remember the name of the book I borrowed from you over break?"
"No I don't," she said frowning. I didn't borrow a book over break... and Lily would throw a hissy-fit if I called her Lilliana.... Hehe! I've got you now Ruby!
I managed to hide a smirk as I replied, "Okay. Think about it will you? Oh!" I dramaticly gasp slapping my forehead, "I forgot something in the common room. I will be right back."
"Kay!
Let the prank wars begin.
For those of you who are confused, I am tired and I don't know what I'm writing. Basicaly, Ruby is one of Blake and Lilys friends. She is a Metamorphmagus as well, very hyper, and likes to prank people. Annie gave herself away when she started jumping around and screaming, because Lily is calm and colective. So next chapter Ava is going to prank Ruby back. I almost forgot. I changed a whole bunch, to put me and my bff's OCs in here. BFF, IF YOU ARE OUT THERE, YOU OWE ME.
Kisses,
-Ava
