I struggled in the roots for a while, they're tightly wrapped around my legs and causing them to lose circulation, within the hollow cavity of a tree with the overgrown vines acting as jailors appointed by time itself, this will definitely take a while to escape.

The process was painstaking but I eventually snapped the smaller vines around my hand, allowing me to draw a spell circle and free myself from the overgrown vines turned prison.
Yet, freedom was not without pain, leading to an ungraceful fall. I would like to say I got up quickly but that would be a lie. After literal centuries of being a statue my body has grown weak and stiff. I strain my legs and stretch through the pain before I can push myself up.
After walking through this strange, dense forest from about dusk to dawn, I still don't know where I am and just keep walking forward.
Stumbling through a large thorny bush I find a farm, the only clue of civilization since I got here all those years ago, immediately rushing to the house to ask for help.

As I knock on the big farmhouse door it occurs to me that, before my body got turned to stone I was taken to a different country and it’s been 224 years. Languages can change a lot during that time, I don't actually know what to expect.

A huge, super tall man came out, and I think he was asking me something, maybe who I was but whatever he said sounded like gibberish to me.
I tried to tell him I needed help, using the most basic words I knew, and even did some silly hand movements to show I was in trouble. But did he get it? Nope.

Instead, he started yelling more of that weird language at me. Then, out of nowhere, he grabbed something that looked like a big scary weapon. It made a loud BANG, and the next thing I knew, my head hurt like crazy. I fell back, and everything went dark.

When I opened my eyes again, I was back in the stupid forest, and guess what?
There was another white streak in my hair! I think I died. Like, actually died! That man killed me!

So, I decided to try again, but this time I went the opposite way through the forest. Eventually, I found this big, creepy building on the edge of the trees. There was a sign on it that said “Orphanage.” I had no clue what that meant, but I figured it was better than being lost in the woods, so I knocked on the big door, hoping someone would actually help me this time.

An old lady answered, and she said something, but of course, I didn’t understand her either. “Help?” I asked, trying to sound cute and innocent. I really hoped that was the right word.

She didn’t waste any time—just grabbed my wrist really tight and yanked me inside. Ouch!
She dragged me through a room full of sad-looking kids who all needed a bath, and took me into a smaller room. Then, she pulled out a tape measure, wrapped it around me like she was measuring a package, and started rummaging through a pile of clothes. She tossed some of them at my feet and left without even saying anything! How rude.

The clothes were super boring—just a white collared shirt, a not-so-white skirt that went down to my knees, some thick socks, and these ugly, muddy red shoes with a label I couldn’t even read. Seriously, these clothes were depressing and itchy, like really itchy.

Once I was dressed, the old lady walked in and dragged me again this time to a room with a big table, like a dining room. Another lady came over, and they started arguing. No idea what about, but they were really mad. Finally, they gave me a plate of food, but it looked different from everyone else’s. Whatever, I was hungry, so I ate it anyway. Bad idea. Everything went black, and guess what? Really guess.

I woke up in that stupid forest again!

Ugh! I’ve died twice now!
After angrily smashing through the forest I kinda started to talk to myself.
