Draco's pov:
Her scream echoed through the house. It's the middle of the night. I've just come home after a long trip. I'm not greeted by the silence I had expected. Instead it's her. The girl that's staying in my house. The girl with no thoughts. The girl that remembered nothing, except my name.
I rush up the stairs dropping the things I was holding. They don't care at this moment. The only thing that cares right now is her. Only her.
As I sprint through the hallway the screaming stops. Just out of nowhere. It's quiet again, too quiet. Worry fills my heart as I keep sprinting towards her room. I open the door, finding the main room empty and dark. I stop, trying to find her in the darkness. Until I see a glow of light through the crack of the door. I immediately run towards it, pushing it fully open. That's when I see her. She's laying on the ground, blood is flowing through her hair. She buried her head in her knees while still holding her head. Stress flows through my blood, while my head is telling me to calm down. I kneel down next to her face, I can see tears rolling off her cheeks leaving stains in the process. Carefully I lay one of my hands in her neck to check if her heart's still beating. It is. With the same hand I put some of her hair behind her ear, carefully trying not to hurt her. I kneel down even further and begin to whisper in her ear. 'Are you alright, Queens?' No reaction. 'Marigold?' No reaction. I begin to stress again. 'Goldie react please.' I beg, but there's still no reaction. Tears start to form in my eyes. I realize she's unconscious, how did I not realize that earlier? I wrap my hands around her, carefully picking her up and laying her against my chest. I can feel her warmth when our skin touches. All I want to do now is keep her safe. I don't know what happened, but seeing her bleeding on the ground changed something. Something inside of me. I feel worried about her.
I take her to my room, laying her down on my bed. She doesn't move or wake up. All she does is just lie, I feel like something inside me breaks. I quickly call my mother over, she is the only person I trust with Marigold now. 'Poor child.' She mumbles as she walks in. She's wearing a nightgown made out of silk. It covers almost her whole body. I wonder how she hasn't fallen over it yet, seeing how close the fabric is to her feet. She immediately begins cleaning Marigold's wound with her wand. A few spells and it's done, like it never happened. 'What happened.' My mom whispers into my ear as she gives me a hug. I hold her tight, taking deep breaths to slow my heart down. 'I don't know.'

Marigolds pov:
As I wake up I feel someone touching me, holding my hand. It feels soft and safe .Slowly I open my eyes to see whose hand lies in mine. It's Malfoy's. Malfoy is holding my hand, but why?
'Malfoy?' I whisper, not fully awake yet. I stare at him, his eyes shift from my hand to my face as he notices I'm awake. 'Yes?' he asks, but not in the cold and hard tone I am used to. His voice is soft and caring. 'What are you doing?' I ask him, looking down at our hands, how our fingers are intertwined.
'Holding your hand.' He says calmly. He stares at me. Using his gray eyes to look into my souls, I don't mind at all.
'Why?' My voice says not louder than a whisper. But I get no reaction. He keeps staring at me, and I stare back. I start to get irritated, but that disappears when Malfoy's thumb gently caresses my palm. It feels nice, safe. For a moment I forget what's happening. But then confusion fills my face again. A smirk appears on his face.
'I demand answers!' I try to sound strict, but it's hard feeling his fingers on my skin. It feels so nice. A small laugh escapes his mouth. 'What do you want to know, your highness.' He makes a little bow with his head. I roll my eyes, but a small laugh also escapes my mouth.
